Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this surface mount LED dome light for utility trailers. Now this light will brighten the inside of your utility trailer to make it a lot easier to load or unload your gear after dark. It's designed to mount onto the surface of the trailer. If you notice, it does include two bullet connectors for wiring installation and it's mounted to a rubber mounting base. This is a utility light so it's perfect for inside an enclosed trailer, uses the energy efficient cool white LEDs that'll last longer and burn brighter than incandescent bulbs.

It has a black cast alloy housing with a clear lens over three LEDs. Gives off a nice wide even flood pattern. Now I do wanna hook this up to some power just to show you how bright it is. So we'll go ahead and hook our light up and with it hooked up, we'll go ahead and turn on the power and you can see the light, how bright it is. We'll go ahead and turn off the over lights.

And again, we mentioned it's three LEDs so it gives off a very bright flood pattern light. Even if I turn around, you can see to the back wall, lights up pretty wide area. Go ahead and turn back on overhead lights, turn off our power. It is a very easy installation. As we mentioned, it mounts to the surface of your trailer, ceiling or wall.

Now the hardware, there's two holes here, the hardware will go into, the hardware is not including, you would have to supply that. We mentioned the mounting base. It's a rubber mounting base, which is included, and it's a two wire design with bullet connectors. A few specs on this, just the light itself, not including the base. It's about 2-7/8" long, 1-1/2" tall and only about 1/2" thick.

Power draw at 12 volts would be 0.52 amps, at 24 volts, 0.275 amps. Light output on this is 725 lumens and the color temperature is 6,500 Kelvin. But that should do it for the review on the surface mount LED Dome light for utility trailers.
