Hello neighbors, Steven here again with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the CURT multi-fit ball kit with the four inch offset for the factory gooseneck hitches, and this is rated at 30,000 pounds. So this particular kit is what's called a custom fit. So always make sure you go to our fit guide, etrailer.com, middle of the page in the top center, there's a part where you can put in your year, make, and model. Make sure you do that, make sure this is the correct fit for your particular vehicle. Now I can tell you this particular kit fits select 2013 to current Chevys, Fords, GMCs, and Ram and Nissan puck system trucks that already have the OEM package in there.

But again, check the fit guide to make sure which one specifically fits yours. Now this gooseneck hitch ball does have integrated chain tie down points or hooks for your safety chains. Make sure you're always using your safety chains. Again, it does work with the factory puck system. If you've already got the system, you know you just put it in, drop it, tighten these back down.

It does have integrated pucks. I can't show you since it's already soft put together here, but you could actually pull these pucks out, flip them over if you had to, depending on the fit on that particular vehicle. So that's pretty versatile as far as that goes. Again, they're gonna fit the CURT OEM style gooseneck hitches as well. And this is a nice all in one unit so it's gonna be easy to install and remove, like I just showed you with that quarter turn anchor system.

It has anti-rotation arms and adjustable anchors like I just mentioned. That's gonna help eliminate the chucking between the frame and the pucks themselves. Now it does have a four inch offset on it, so this part down here that you can't see too good unfortunately 'cause of the angle, but it's gonna go straight down. Let me try overhead here. So you can't see it there either, but that's gonna go down in your OEM puck.

And then it's got the four inch offset here from where it went in. Now while I've got it zoomed in here, this is the locking mechanism. Simply pull that. Very, very simple design, easy to use. Nice, strong, sturdy metal. Now you're gonna get the ball, both brackets, and you'll see there's a long bracket here. There's another one that I've already got attached here just for demo that's about this short, but this long bracket here is the one specific to the Rams. So you will get a set of instructions that comes with it for install. Very easy to follow. All the bolts I've put in here just loose, so you look at the hardware that you need as well. Now this system is gonna help you make sharper turns because of that offset. You can fully open the truck bed when you're hooked up, and it's got a nice carbide black powder coat finish on it and a nice chrome plating on the ball down here that sit onto the hole itself on the gooseneck part. And it's a nice forged steel, good quality. And this has been tested to safely meet all SAE specifications. Now this does have a gross towing weight of 30,000 pounds, so don't ever go over that. But more importantly, never go over what the capacity of your particular vehicle is. Now this is a standard 2-5/16 inch ball, and as I mentioned, it has a four inch offset. Now this also comes with a nice limited lifetime warranty from CURT, so you don't have to worry about anything breaking down on you in the future. Well folks, I'm Steven again with etrailer.
