Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Dexter fortress threaded aluminum oil cap for 5,200 to 8,000 pound axles. So folks, this will replace the oil cap, oil ring, and plug for a few Dexter, Rockwell, Valcrum, and even Lippert axles. And I'll put those item numbers on the screen so you have those part numbers. And again, folks, a nice threaded aluminum oil cap. This nice red retainer ring on the top here is gonna shield the clear viewing area from debris and rocks and large items that maybe hit it or something like that.
And it has a very nice large fill plug or drain plug even here on the side, which I like. Now this cap technically can double as a grease cap, but it is predominantly designed for oil bath. You can see that rubber O-ring there. Again, a nice cast aluminum body. It's gonna help protect your bearings into your hub.
And the O-ring is gonna give you a nice tight seal. It does thread on really easy. It's got the torque ratings right here on the aluminum, 20 to 30 foot pounds. And a view from the inside, you got the nice rubber plug still in the center if you wanna go that route. You're gonna get one cap, one watertight O-ring seal, and that plug, and the overall diameter is 2.875.
Nice five year warranty. And I'll even throw up an image of an expanded view just so you can kind of get a just of how much goes into this when they design it. Very nice design.
