This set fits factory mirrors like those pictured above.
These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Be aware. The pad coming with those mirrors is way to small. There will be spots, where the inner of the mirrors touches the plastic of your real mirror. It will strach them! Tried to pad the mirror more from the inside. But its not possible to get such a thin pad like the one coming with these mirrors. In this case, they get to thick and dont fit anymore.
Currently on use on a 1995 Chevy Suburban (aftermarket mirrors).
Well-made, easy to install, and effective to use. Reasonably priced. Fasten accurate information and shipping.
This is a quality product. The plastic is heavy duty, and the mirror s quality. My only complaint would be the shape, I wish it would look a little more seamless, or custom, rather than universal. You can see in the picture that the plastic doesn't curve around the frame of the stock mirror. I like this product and would recommend it.

We now have traveled with these mirrors from Florida to South Dakota via East Tennessee then back to Ohio to Florida and now to Utah. That gives us a history for sure. They are working great. Have mo hesitation in recommending them.
The Mirrors came in excellent condition and packaged well. They fit like a glove and installation is quick and easy. I would recommend this product to anyone for a quick on and off setup for your vehicle. Another big plus they are 100% American made. Thank You etrailer for your prompt and kind service. I am looking forward to doing business with you in the future.
The only problem I had was the shipment came UPS Sure Post instead of the normal UPS Ground. UPS Ground arrives next day at my location because of the geography relationship to Wentzville, MO. So I learned my lesson to ask about the shipping method. Sure Post take an extra day. Product was easy to install and works well.

Works Well!
I tow a 32ft enclosed cargo mate car trailer with a 1999 chevy suburban. The stock towing mirrors on it would not allow me to see around the trailer, but when I added the ctm1200 extended mirrors I was able to see every thing behind the trailer. These mirrors are inexpensive and have a stock look to them--hence doesn't change stock look when not towing. I would buy these mirrors again if needed on another vehicle.
They fit perfect and look fine. The viberate alot when you are driving, but I guess any mirror would. Overall good product. They will stay on my work truck until something better comes along.

they where ok but too small and vibrated to much to use so now they are in storage. Good design and product, but I like a larger mirror.
Well built, easy install.
Every thing i have ordered from e- trailer has exceded expectations in price and performance along with the speed of shipments now when i order i moght have to hurry up and open the garage door before touching submit

One fit the other didnt,and still dont dont really know why they both look like theyd fit but the pass side is a tiny bit smaller
I bought these mirrors for our '98 Tahoe tow vehicle. They were easy to install, and did not loosen up throughout our trip. I did found them just a bit jittery, but appreciated the aerodynamic shape and that they did not obstruct the view of my normal mirrors. Since I put them on only hours before leaving I hadn't had much time to adjust them properly, which I would recommend doing since doing it "on-the-fly" can be a bit hard as it is a manual "by hand" adjustment. Good quality, good product.
They work as they should. Would have given 5 stars but they can scratch the finish on the mirrors. But they were the best option to safely tow my camper.
These mirrors work on my 99 Suburban towing my toyhauler. Actually cover up my old worn mirrors pretty good.
Well it's a year later and these mirrors are still doing their job. Granted I don't keep them on all the time, but I do use them all the time when towing my trailer. On highways they do shake somewhat, but with normal driving speeds they areally great. They really help when parking with the trailer attached.
I ordered a pair of mirror extension for my 1998 Silverado from Etrailer.com. The mirrors were priced reasonably, they arrived in short order, and they are exactly what I need. I would definitely order from Etrailer.com again.
Brought these about a year ago. Been very happy with this item. My only complaint would be they vibrate a bit which slightly distorts the image. Super easy to take on and off. Been happy with them. I would recommend for someone who does not want to deal with replacing the factory side view mirrors.

I have been waiting for these for a little bit, my enclosed trailer makes it so the stock mirrors just can't quite see the sides of my trailer especially when I'm backing up, these were EXACTLY what I wanted VERY nice!!
It arrived way ahead of time and boxed very well. I did slip it over one of my side mirrors and it fit very well. I have a 1998 Chevy Silverado 4WD and had tried local products which locally said would work - No way. I contacted etrailer.com sent e-mail describing vehicle etc. had a response with in no time and they are right on. I highly recommend this company and products to everyone.

Just used these for the first time this week A vast improvement over my previous ser that attached with rubber straps. Much wider field of view with significantly less vibration. Allowed me to see around my fifth wheel with no problems.

I'm very happy with the mirrors. They mount securely and easily--easy on, easy off. There's minimal vibration, unlike other brands I've tried.
While nothing is going to beat the original tow package mirrors, these work great for what they are. They fit my 1996 suburban really well and look nice at the same time. Much better than the clip on type. These will work well for me!!
These are good quality and fit my 1997 Suburban perfectly with low vibration levels. Great product guys!
Overall the product fit as advertised, and the installation was fairly easy. One concern is that the threaded anchors to hole the mirror extensions in place, are made from plastic, and over time i feel that these could break. Otherwise would definitely recommend this product to others.
Works as advertised. Was not expecting much else but plastic and glass and thats what I got. Intallation was simple and quick as advertised. This was my second purchase through etrailer.com and I have been pleased with your service so far and would recommend it to my friends.

Been holding up great. Left side vibrates a little bit, but that’s mainly because I had to replace the factory mirror with an aftermarket.
