It is designed to fit the 2000 to 2005 Ford Excursion vehicles and the 2001 to 2007 Ford T250, F350, F450, and F 550 super duty trucks and cabin chassis trucks. Now on a custom fit part like this. I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year model vehicle and it'll show if this'll work for application. Now this is a nice extendable towing mirror that'll replace your factories, driver's side mirror on your vehicle, no need for any strap on or snap on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off.
This mirror has a telescoping function and makes it very easy to see around the side of your trailer so that you can safely change lanes, pass, or park. All you have to do is just pull the mirror away from your vehicle, extends in about three and a half more inches to extend your line of sight and then when you're done, all you have to do is push it back into place. When you're not towing. It does use the power mirror adjustment that'll let you change the mirror face position with your factory control inside your vehicle. This does offer the heated mirror glass to clear frost and ice, reduce fogging. It does have an amber light right here on the side.
It'll light up when your turn signals activate it and it has a built in spotter mirror. The Small Mirror right down here that will reduce blind spots. It is a hinge design that allows you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces. It's in a nice durable plastic housing with a black finish. Now the cover itself could be painted to match your vehicle and as I mentioned, it is custom fit for your vehicle. It's a simple no drill installation has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror and has the plug here that'll plug into your existing electrical wiring. This is for the driver's side mirror.
Only few specs on this. The mirror face dimensions. The width is going to be right at 6 7/8" wide. The height is 8 1/8" tall. The spotter mirror height is right about 1 7/8" inches tall.
Now the distance from the edge of the mirror to the vehicle when it's retracted like it is here, it's going to be about 18". And again, when we pull it out at 3 1/2", it'll be 21 1/2" when it's extended. This mirror is federal motor vehicle safety standard approved, but that should do it for the review on the K-Source Custom Driver's Side, Extendable Electric Towing Mirrors with the heat and turn signal.
