Custom-Fit Towing Mirrors

Easily extend your field of vision and reduce blind spots with these CIPA slip-on towing mirrors. By adding them to your OEM side-view mirrors, you can see beyond the end of your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park with a trailer in tow.

Each of these mirrors is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirrors. Simply slide the mirrors over your side-view mirrors and use the custom-formed, felt-covered wedges to hold the mirrors in place. Each wedge wraps around the inside edge of your OEM mirror and can be tightened onto the mirror with an easily accessible hand knob.

I guess you get what you pay for. They were easy to install on my Tahoe. The driver side works well as I can see behind my Travel trailer. The passenger side just doesn't work for me. Its a flat mirror (Not convex) so field of view is very limited, I just cant find the right position for it. I also find it a bit confusing as there are now 4 different mirrors to focus on. I think the ultimate solution are the larger telescoping units. But of course they cost more and installation is more involved. I don't trailer that much so I can live with these. Oh, one little annoying thing is they whistle when the window is down(Quiet when the windows are up). I think its the sharp edge. On the plus side removal is quick so when you don't need them they come off easily when not needed.

by:

I thought the mirrors were close enough to perfect to issue 5 stars, even though I had to perform one little extra task. Seems like everything I buy these days needs a little “adjustment.” I just had to run a tap through the threads for the tightening knob. No biggy. They look great!

by:

Buy these! You won't be disappointed! This is my second set of towing mirrors and I have to say that these are far superior to my previous set in the way that they "lock" in place and don't slip around. My only comment is that each mirror comes with a small plastic shim to make the locking possible. It would be nice if the mfg would come up with a way to make a storage cradle in each mirror for the part when not in use. Otherwise, it could be easy to lose which would make the mirrors pretty useless.

2010ChevroletSilverado

The mirrors were shipped and arrived extremely quickly. The directions for installation were straight forward and took all of 5 minutes to install. The mirrors fit my 2010 Silverado 1500 like a glove. I'm looking forward to putting them to plenty of good use in the months to come.

Ive been using these mirrors pretty regularly for the past year and they are still fantastic. They are extremely easy to install and adjust and maintain stability when driving at highway speeds for 8+ hours. I would recommend them anyone.

by:

Great fit, secures very tight, extremely happy with purchase.

by:
2012 ChevroletSilverado

this is a very good buy for me, I am very critical when it comes to items being correct fit, these mirrors fit good but were still just a little loose with a slight vibration on the road, easy fix. Two peices of 1/4" x 3/4 foam weather stripping, place it in the area shown in the pic and all vibration is gone, it does not effect the fit in the least. I have tried SEVERAL different types of towing mirrors with no satisfation, until now. Thank you.
P.S. the two peices of weather were 7 and 11 inches, I think it would be a great addition to the kit.

2011 Cadillac Escalade

Fits my 2011 Cadillac escalade perfectly! Love the mirrors, especially when I'm towing. I can see my RV perfectly now!

by:

Hello Amy J. This morning I installed the towing mirrors. Everything went well. Great product. FYI: The chrome caps on my foldout mirrors are the exact dimensions of the painted caps. No problems with install. The only improvement that I can see is a cutout for the "puddle light" but not really necessary for me as I rarely tow at night.

by:

My first time dealing with etrailer and I would say I am extremely impressed. I placed my order late at night and it shipped out the next morning.
The mirrors that I ordered were perfect. I installed them myself in minutes. The instructions were written very clearly and easy to follow. The quality of the mirrors was just fine. We look forward to our first camping trip with our new travel trailer.

by:

I had similar mirrors in the past, they shook and vibrated so badly I tossed them! These were rock solid and vibration free on their maiden voyage! Freeway speeds up to 70-75 mph clear and stable!

by:
2012 Chevrolet Suburban

I have had the mirrors for about a year now. I use them when towing a 25 foot pontoon boat or 2 and 4 place snowmobile trailer. I really like the mirrors! They mount very securely and do not vibrate when going down the road. Easy on and off. Much safer with these on when towing. I can now change lanes if needed without sometimes guessing if there is a car behind me and see the lane clearly when merging back in. I highly recommend!

Pat M.

12/9/2017

I dont use the mirrors often, mainly in the winter months when I trailer to snowmobile destinations. The CIPA mirrors perform well and guests I have with me that may use other brands styles of mirrors always comment how they like my mirrors and their lack of vibration. Thanks for a great product. Let it snow!!

I bought a 2012 LTZ Silverado 2500HD that did not have trailer tow mirrors. I found CIPA custom tow mirrors (CM10900) on etrailer .com web sight. I called to order a set, glad I did. The pair are very easy to install, great quality plastic design, gives me great vision, and easy to remove and clean when your trip is done. The price is very affordable, compaired to buying OEM mirrors from your Chevy parts dept. I have bought other items from etrailer and I am very happy with the PRICE and SERVICE they give the customer. Keep up the good work

In 2003 I purchased a pair of CIPA mirrors for my 2002 Chevy pick up. They have been a great product all that time. Easy on easy off. No vibration. Over the years I towed many different trailers. I would still be using them except I purchased a GMC truck and of course, I purchased a pair of CIPA mirrors for the new truck. I anticipate getting the same great service from the new pair as I did from the old pair.
I am very pleased with Etrailer. They had the best price and shipping was fast. I ordered them around 4:30 PM Eastern time and they arrived two days later. Thank You Etrailer; Frank

They are performing great on the new truck. I sold my Chevy when I bought the GMC and gave the byre the set I had on the 2002 vehicle. That set performed perfectly for 18 years and they will continue on with the Chevy truck.

by:
2011 GMC Sierra

Bought this product as I seen multiple trucks with the same tow mirrors about a month before I got my trailer. Thought if all these other people are using them, must be good. Sure enough, they are better then good, they are amazing. Easy to install and remove from factory mirrors. No vibration when driving and the mirror itself stays in the same spot where you position it. Definitely recommend!!

Troy K.

7/27/2016

The mirrors are great. I have only used them about a dozen times, and they are a good product. Would definitely recommend.

by:

Easy to install and remove. Gives me the little extra I need to see around the travel trailer.

by:
2012 GMC Sierra

The mirrors arrived quickly, without any damage and slip on as advertised. The only small discrepancy is that the protective felts do not match the instructions nor the described location on the mirrors.
CIPA should either change the instructions or the protective felts to match the instructions and the locations on the mirrors. Hope I successfully applied them, but will not know until after the first trip and take them back off to see if the truck mirrors are marred in any way.

Big B.

5/26/2016

I guess I did it correctly regardless of the instructions as they are working just fine.

2011 GMC Sierra

Ordered these CIPA mirrors for our 2011 GMC Sierra for pulling our new 28' camper. Took longer to unpack the box than to install the mirrors! They fit great, slip right over factory mirrors, very easy. Thanks etrailer !

Jim L.

6/4/2015

Would still recommend the mirrors. However, we store our camper in town. Got half way there last year

by:

The mirror extensions work exactly as promised. Easy to install, adjust, and provide good views... And, despite a glitch with PayPal, the follow up by etrailer.com staff allowed me to purchase with ease...

9/14/2016

Great , could use a little more length for comfort

by:

These mirrors fit great, no vibrations and no wind noise. They add a good amount of rearward visibility and the glass quality is good. Takes less than 5 minutes to install the pair. I have a larger trailer now and have upgraded the factory mirrors with extendable towing mirrors, but I did use these extensions on the factory mirrors for the first few months. If you have a flat trailer, pop up camper or a narrow box trailer, these factory mirror extensions are great!

by:

I just got them, 2 days after ordering. They fit great and look great. I haven’t driven with them on yet, but so far I am very happy.. The service was great. I called with a question and Hally helped me find the right mirrors for my vehicle and put the order in for me. They were shipped the same day. She notified me when they were shipped and gave me a tracking number but they got here so quickly, I hadn’t check on a delivery date yet.

9/22/2019

After a year and over 5000 miles towing our trailer, I am still happy with the mirrors. The only issue I have is that the plastic threads on the locking devise on one side , the threads still look good but are very difficult to screw in and out. I dont think I over tightened or cross-threaded. the mirror still stays secure.

by:
2010 Chevrolet Avalanche

I started using these add-on mirrors 21 days ago and have been on the road ever since covering over 2000 miles. I cannot image how slightly over $50 could be better spent if a trailering mirror and you don't care to spend the change for the factory $400 to 500 items. I am extremely pleased with the purpose.

Fit - perfect (after I overcame my learning disability). Easy "on and off" too.
Looks - plastic, but still looks great and like they belong on the vehicle which is a 2010 Avalanche.
Vibration - very little and not nearly enough to bother. (The more any mirror sticks out, the more subject it will be to vibration due to geometry!)
Attachment - very secure (if its not secure, something has been assembled incorrectly.
Adjustment - manual, of course (remember $50+ for a set) but adequate. A little stiff at first.
Sturdy - Yes, plastic, but robust! Not at all flimsy!
Mirror - It's really a mirror and not a foggy sliver coating sprayed or laminated onto plastic. (If its either it is so well done that it has fooled me.)
Instructions - adequate and accurate, but reading skills of the population is declining including mine. (Maybe there is a YouTube video somewhere!)
I looked at others in local stores, but nothing came close to the utility&quality per dollar these provide even though several cost much more.
Caveat: Don't lose the small mounting for each mirror when mountings/dismounting & storing. (That would be annoying! I store in the original cardboard box from the factory.)
Overall, I can't imagine an improvement that wouldn't involve some kind of compromise in other features or overall utility.
If I should lose or break one (it would have to be carelessness), I will purchase it again.

by:

These mirror's are awesome!! So easy to take on and off, they fit my truck perfectly. I wish I had gotten them sooner rather than deal with the strap on kind I had gotten originally from my local auto parts store.
You can always count on etrailer to have top quality products at a great price.
