Today we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy schackle with the screw pin design. These are going to be made from galvanized steel. Part number is going to include two shackles and they're going to have a diameter of a 3/4". These are going to offer a safe working load limit of 666 pounds with a maximum load or break strength of 2,000 pounds. You can secure these quickly and easily with the screw pin. You can see how that operates. You just twist the pin in and out simply by hand.
Allows you to get it mounted to whatever type of mounting surface or application you want to apply these to. A lot of times with the smaller shackles what I see is people will use them as tie-down points along their trailer frame. They'll use them for bungee straps or ratchet straps, things of that nature. These are going to be great for connecting many different types of straps and hooks. They simply just provide a good strong, secure connection point for many different applications. I'm going to go ahead and give us the internal measurements here.
Inside edge to inside edge if we take a look at that measurement, that's going to give us an opening of I'd say about 3/4". Measuring this direction inside edge to inside edge, that's going to give us a measurement just over 1". I'd say about 1-1/6". That's going to do it for our review of part number GS03. These are the Brophy shackles with the screw pin design.
