Hello, everybody. This is Jeff for etrailer.com. Today we take a look at this replacement eight-foot-long rubber cutting edge for the Meyer snow plows. Now, this part here will replace the cutting edge or the scraper blade that's on the bottom of your Meyer snow plow. This is comparable to the Meyer part number 08190. This part is designed to mount to the bottom of the blade to break apart in the ice and scrape away pack snow.
Now, if you notice over here in this corner, it does include the mounting hardwood to install this. This part is constructed. Let me just zoom in here, of a thick, durable rubber for impact resistance. Thickness on this part is about one and a half inches thick. It is made in the USA.
A few specs on it, total length. I have it curled up to fit into the video shot, but if this was stretched out like it's gonna be installed, total length is eight feet, or 96 inches. Total height on it is eight inches tall, and we mentioned the thickness of it is one and a half inches thick. The mounting holes, which you can see that are spaced all the way around here. There's eight holes for mounting.
They are one inch wide, three inches tall, and the distance between those holes, center to center, is 12 and seven 16th inches. Weight on this part is about 49 pounds, but that should do it for the review on this replacement eight-foot-long rubber cutting edge for the Meyer snow plows.
