Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror. This is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your 2001 through 2004 Toyota Tacoma. This is modeled after the Tacoma's original look and fit, so you're really not going to be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror. It's going to look like it came with your Tacoma right from the factory.

So you're not going to have to worry about your vehicle looking like it's pieced together from junkyard parts or anything like that.It's going to have a nice integrated look with your Tacoma and it does have the manual remote capabilities so you can adjust the mirror face position manually with that factory control stick inside your vehicle so you won't have to roll down your window to adjust it. You can easily do it from inside your vehicle, just like the original. This is made of OE grade components, so it's going to be the same high quality materials as your original. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome. So it's going to give you a nice clear image.

It is a flat lens like most of your driver's side mirrors are. So it's going to give you a true representation of the object size behind you. And it does have the durable plastic housing with the black finish. This is a rather smooth finish, although if you look really closely, it's kind of got a textured look to it, although it feels smooth to the touch. So it's going to look nice and hold up well for you.As far as getting this installed, it's going to be super easy.

You can see our mounting points here. These are going to be the exact same as your original. So this little knob here is where you're going to adjust the mirror face position. That's going to hook up with the original, just like.. It's going to pick up where the original did.

All these are going to be the same. So really all you have to do is take your old one off, put this one in its place, get it tightened down, and you're ready to go. You're not going to have to worry about drilling new holes or anything like that. It's all going to have the same footprint, so it's going to be very easy to install.Now for those of you who do like the details, who want a little bit more verification that this is the mirror that you need. This is going to be a replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. And this is just the driver's side.
