This is going to be a custom fit for the 2014 through 2016 Kia Forte sedan and the Kia Forte5 hatchback. This has the power capacity, so we'll be able to use the heated mirror glass to clear away any kind of frost or moisture that's built up there, be able to see what's going on behind us, and also still adjust it from inside the cab of our Kia. There's no cutting or splicing required to get that connection made.
We'll just plug right into our factory housing and we'll be good to go.Has the factory style studs here so we can thread in our hardware from the original. So it should just match right up to our Kia and no one should be able to tell that this wasn't direct from the factory.It also has the turn signal built into the light, so we can still signal through our light there. Also has a power folding function and will allow us to have our mirror just like fold away instead of actually breaking off. If it happens to be struck by accident, it'll just break away instead of breaking off.It's made of a durable plastic housing. You can get this painted to match your vehicle.
Just I want to tape it up really well and make sure that everything's ready to go so you don't get any over-spray on the mirror housing itself or on the mirror face. It has an OE-grade convex glass that has that first surface plating, so we're going to get a clear image behind us, and that's why we have that little warning at the bottom that says that objects are going to be closer than they appear. Typically, that's what happens on our passenger side. It has that convex mirror designs, so we can get a greater field of view.Now, if you need the driver's side mirror with all those same heated functions, the light built into the mirror face and all that, that still fits the Kia Forte and Forte5, that's also available here at etrailer.com. That part number is going to be KS75559 or, excuse me.
KS75560k, and that's the driver's side with all the same functions. So should be an easy way to get your mirror replaced and back out on the road safely.That's going to do it for our look at the K-Source replacement side mirror.
