Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this K-Source electric driver's side replacement side mirror. Now if you are looking to replace the driver's side mirror on your 2017 to 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback this is going to be the mirror that you need. And for your reference, I also am including the original equipment number on your screen for you. And this is modeled after Honda's original look and fit. So you're really not going to be able to tell that it is a replacement.

It's going to look like it came with your Civic right from the factory. Now this does indeed feature a durable plastic housing with a textured black finish. And the cover can be painted to match your vehicle if you so desire. And like your original mirror, this mirror has the power remote capabilities so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside of your Civic. Now keep in mind the power remote capability is only possible if your Civic is already capable of doing that.

So if your original mirror could do it this mirror will do it as well, but it won't add that functionality to your Civic if it doesn't already have that feature. Also, this mirror does not have a camera or turn signal function, so just so you're aware of that. The OE-grade flat glass with first-surface plating, reflects clear images. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome and that flat lens is going to reflect the true representation of the object size. The breakaway design is going to allow this mirror to fold in if you happen to strike something like the side of the entrance of your garage or something like that.

So that's going to deter breakage, which is great. And this is going to be a simple bolt-on no drill installation. This is going to use the same footprint and the same mounting points as the factory mirror that you are looking to replace. So again, this mirror is going to plug in to your Civic's existing electrical wiring. And this is once again for the driver side mirror.
