Today we're going to be taking a look at part # KS70102T, this is the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror for the driver's side of the vehicle. This mirror is going to fit 2001-2007 Toyota Highlanders and it's a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your Highlander. This is going to be modeled after the manufacturer's look and fit. It does have the power-remote capability, that way you can adjust the mirror-face position with the factory power controls inside the vehicle. It's going to have the heated mirror glass that's going to clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. It's going to feature OE grade flat glass with first surface plating so it's going to reflect clear images.
The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome and it's going to reflect true representation of the actual object size that we're seeing in the mirror. It does have a break-away design so it can kick back or it can be folded in towards the vehicle so that way if it we're to get struck hopefully the break-away design would help prevent permanent damage or permanent breakage. Then it just snaps back in to the position it's supposed to be in so the break-away design is a great feature to have. We're going to have the durable plastic housing with a nice black finish. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror and it's going to have the plug right here so the mirror's going to plug into the existing electrical wiring. The OE number, or original equipment number, is 8794048160C0 and with this part number you're going to get one mirror for the driver's side. Specific or special note that we need to mention is that the power remote capability and heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle was already equipped with those functions.
