Today, we'll be taking a look at the K Source replacement side mirror. This has electric and heat with the turn signal integrated into the light. This is for our passenger side.So the nice thing about this mirror is that we're going to be able to just mount it up in the same place as our old mirror and bounce right up to that same footprint.We'll have our studs here to get tightened down. Becomes a little rubber boots over the top of those studs. You'll just remove those, and then you can thread down the new nuts that also come with it. Or excuse me, those are actually just studs, just the threads on there.

So you'll need to reuse the hardware that comes off of your original mirror. Has this plate to mount up and reduce any kind of wind noise or gap.Then our wiring harness will just plug right into that mirror, so there's no cutting or splicing with this, no drilling required at all. It's a really easy install. Just pop off the old mirror and pop on the new one, and you're good to go.You'll have that heated mirror glass, so we don't have to worry about any fog or ice clouding our view. Has an OE-grade convex glass with inaudible 00:01:17 surface plating, so it gives you a nice, really clear image.

But then it also has that kind of convex design, so that it bubbles out to give us a wider field of view and reduce any blind spots.We flip it up, you'll notice there's this seam here. That's our breakaway design so we can fold that mirror in and make it more compact to the vehicle, which is always nice whenever we're parking on a narrow street or going into a parking garage or any other place where we have close quarters parking, so we can get that mirror folded in and avoid any kind of breakage in the future.Now, you might notice that there's this cover here. That's because if you need to paint this to match your vehicle, it's a lot easier to do it with the cover already removed, rather than trying to tape off your light here, your turn signal to cover up your mirror face and try to avoid any over-spray. It just makes it easier to just have this already removed, spray it up, paint it however you're going to paint it, and then pop it into place. If you are going to paint this, you want to make sure that you don't put this on until you're ready for it to be mounted, because once this is on there, it's really hard to remove.With that in place, it'll look more like this.

I'm just going to kind of gently mock that up here, so it doesn't snap all the way. Because again, it is pretty hard to get that taken off once it's in place. But that's what your mirror should like that. This is a fit for the 2013 through 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS and Limited. Also a fit for the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe SE and Limited.We also have the driver's side available if you need that mirror as well.

You can find that using part number KS650332. Again, that's going to be our electric mirror with the heated glass. Or excuse me, that's KS65034Y. This is our passenger side mirror. It does come with a 90-day warranty.One last thing I want to note is that if your vehicle did not have the remote capability or the heated glass or the turn signal, this isn't going to be an upgrade for you. It's not going to give you those additional functions. If you don't already have the wiring in your vehicle to make those work, this isn't going to work either. So just keep that in mind. Those functions only work if your vehicle's already pre-wired for it. So if you had all those functions, this is going to be a great direct replacement for your mirror.That's going to do it for our look at the K Source replacement mirror.
