Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K Source replacement side mirror. Now, this is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 2013 through 2015 GMC Acadia as well as your 2013 through 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. This is modeled after your vehicle's original look and fit, so you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror. It should blend right in, look like it came with your vehicle right from the factory. So you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard look.

And because this is a modeled after your manufacturer's original look and fit and a custom-fit for those vehicles, it is gonna be very easy to get this installed. It's gonna have the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror, it's going to plug right into your existing electrical wiring. So very simple to get this installed, And this is gonna have the power remote capabilities, so you can adjust the mirror face positions with the factory controls inside your vehicle. This will have the heated mirror glass to clear frost and ice and help reduce foggin'. And on the backside here, it does have that amber light that's going to activate when you turn signal on.

So keep in mind all those features, the power remote capability, the heated glass, and the turn signal are only gonna work if your vehicle already has those functions. It's not going to add those functions to a vehicle that didn't have them already. One thing this mirror is not going to support is the memory, or auto dimming functions that your original mirror might have had. But it is going to have the same OE grade quality components. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so it is gonna give you a nice, clear image.

It is gonna be a convex lens like most passenger side mirrors to provide a nice wide angle view to help reduce those blind spots. And you can see we are gonna have that built in spotter mirror that's going to help further minimize blind spots. This does have the breakaway design, so it's going to fold in on itself if you we're to run into the side of your garage, or a parking post or something like that to help absorb that impact and deter breakage. It is a durable plastic housing. And so it is going to hold up really well for you.

This can be painted to match your vehicle's color to further integrate it into the overall look of your vehicle, if you so wish. And for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for you, this is going to be a replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you're going through your owner's manual, or when you take off the original mirror, if you see that number anywhere, you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need.
