Today we're going to be taking a look at the K Source replacement side mirror for the driver's side of your vehicle. This product fits a 2000 to 2005 Chevrolet Astro and GMC Safari. The side view mirror's a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. It's going to be modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does feature power remote capability. That way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle. It's going to have OE grade flat glass with first surface plating so it will reflect clear images.
The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, and that's going to be a flat lens which is going to reflect true representation of the actual object size. It does feature a break away design, so that way if it's hit from the back or the front, it will fold in or fold away to help prevent or deter breakage. The housing on the unit is made from a durable plastic housing with a nice black finish. When it comes to the installation, it's an easy, no-drill install. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror. It's got the 3 mounting studs, and it's going to come with 3 nuts; 1 per stud.
The mirror is going to plug into the existing electrical wiring on the vehicle. The original equipment or OE number is 15757375. With this part number, you're going to get 1 driver side mirror. Please keep in mind that the power remote capability of the mirror will work only if your vehicle is already equipped with that function. 2000 GMC Safari
Very happy with the K-Source electric side mirror. The mirror within the frame is very steady and the product looks great on my 2000 Safari.
I had originally ordered a different mirror from etrailer and the mirror was so bouncy it was difficult to tell if there were 2 or 3 cars behind me. E trailer went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with my new purchase.

I recommend these Replacement Side Mirrors # KS62054G. I cannot guarantee that this mirror will not vibrate, but K-Source manufacturers many of the factory mirrors for vehicles today, and their replacement mirrors are good quality.
