Today we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror for the driver's side of your vehicle. This product fits a 2007-2015 Jeep Wrangler. It'll fit the models with full steel doors or with OE half doors. The side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. This is modeled after the manufacturers original look and fit. It's going to feature power remote capability, that way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle.
It's also going to have the heated mirror glass. That's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice as well as reducing fogging. When it comes to the glass we're looking at a OE grade flat glass with first surface platting to reflect clear images. The flat lens gives a true representation of the actual object size and the mirror does have a breakaway design so if it's hit from the front or from the back it'll fold in or out to really deter breakage. The housing, we're looking at a durable plastic construction with a nice textured black finish. When it comes to the mounting, it's an easy, no-drill installation.
It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror and then it does have the electrical connection so the mirror can plug into the existing electrical wiring on the vehicle. The original equipment or OE number is 5182175AA and please keep in mind that the power remote capability and heated glass of the mirror will work only if your vehicle is already equipped with those functions.
