Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to fit the passenger's side for the 2011 through 2013 Honda Odyssey. That's for the EX and EXL.So it's going to have your heated functions, your remote functions as well. You just plug in this wiring harness into your original housing on your Odyssey, so there's no cutting or splicing required with this. It just plugs right into the original factory hardware.

And then our footprint is also going to match up exactly the same. We'll have some new flange nuts to attach our mirror with.So basically you're just going to probably pop out a panel on the inside of your Odyssey to get access to these nuts and then you're going to remove those, unhook your wiring and then pretty much repeat that same process in reverse to get the new one installed.So really an easy way to replace that mirror. Something to note with this is that even though it does have remote capability and heated glass, this is only going to work if your vehicle already had those options. If you didn't have the heated function on your Odyssey to begin with, this isn't going to upgrade you at all. You'd need to have that wiring in your Odyssey to make this work.

So just keep that in mind. It's not going to upgrade your system at all. It's just going to give you the same functions that you already had.Another thing to note on the flip side of that is that this does not have a turn signal. So if your Odyssey had that turn signal built into the housing or into the mirror face, this isn't going to have that function. So a couple of things to keep in mind there, but if this is a match for your vehicle with all those functions, it's going to work out just the same as the exact match for it.It can be painted alike to your Honda Odyssey.

You can see that this is just a nice smooth plastic construction here, so you can tape it all off, paint it to match with your original finish, and it'll look like it came from the factory.The bottom here, you can see this little cutout. This is where we would actually fold this in, so it does fold in against your Odyssey to keep it out of the way if you're on a narrow street or parking in a really tight garage somewhere, to keep that mirror from getting damaged.The lens face is a convex design, so it's going to help to eliminate any blind spots. It kind of increases that wide angle view so we don't have to worry about not being able to see anything. That's where it gets that little warning label about objects being larger or closer than they appear because it has that convex design, so it does kind of distort things a little bit, but for the purpose of giving you a wider field of view.Now, if you need the driver's side mirror, that's also available here at etrailer.com.
