Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at our K-Source Replacement Side Mirror. So this is going to be a direct replacement for your 1999 to 2006 GMC Sierra, your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic, your 1999 to 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, or your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic. So since this is a direct replacement for your current passenger's side factory mirror, that means it's modeled to look and fit the exact same way your old mirror did. It also uses the same grade glass, that's gonna be important if you don't wanna make it too obvious that you had to replace your passenger side mirror, and also, if you want it to have the exact same view that your old one did. Now, this is a manual mirror, and that means that you have to adjust it manually to get the best view from where you're sitting. The upside to that is there's no wiring or drilling involved since it is a exact fit, so it's gonna be slightly easier to install it.

The downside is you can't adjust it with a press of a button from the inside of your car. That's gonna be a little tricky since it's the passenger's side mirror. Now, what I do whenever I have to do that, is I just have whoever's riding with me just go adjust my passenger side mirror real quick, that way, I don't have to run around the car to adjust it and then sit again to see if it was in the right spot. It's really up to you how you do it though. Either way, having a drill-free install process is still gonna make it easier.

Now, the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so that's gonna give you a clear image, not a foggy one, but a nice clear image. This uses a flat lens, and what that means is that it reflects a true representation of object size. So compared to other lenses, which kinda distort whether something's larger or smaller, this is gonna give you that true flat representation, and if you accidentally hit the mirror, or something hits the mirror while it's on your car, what this does is it has a breakaway design where it just folds with the blow, which will help deter breakage. It also helps that it has this nice durable plastic housing as well as this black finish, which is gonna help with scratches as well as, let's see, if debris kicks up against it, you're gonna enjoy or appreciate that plastic housing.
