Today we're reviewing part number CM27374 from CIPA. This is a driver's side replacement side mirror for electrically operated mirrors. It will work with GMC and Chevrolet vehicles of certain model years and types. You should consult the product page, or the etrailer fit guide to determine whether your truck will work with this mirror. It has a first surface plating on the front, which means that you'll always have a clear and undistorted image. Also, it's flat glass, which means that objects actually are as close as they appear to be.
You don't get the distortion as you would with a convex mirror. The housing is sturdy ABS plastic, and as you can see there's a highly polished chrome cover that's quite attractive. It also resists rust and corrosion. This mirror has a breakaway design. It will fold in or back if it is struck, and that will deter breakage.
And it's very easy to install. It bolts to the existing mounting holes using the existing hardware, and it plugs in to your existing wiring connectors. This replaces original equipment part number 15172247, and it does come with a 1-year warranty. And there you have it for part number CM27374 from CIPA, the driver's side electric replacement mirror.
