Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source replacement side-view mirror. This is going to replace the passenger side side view mirror on your 1992 through 2006 Ford Van. This is modeled after your Ford Van's original look and fit. So you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror. It should look like it came with your Ford, right from the factory.

It does use the same mounting points as the original mirror. So you're not going to have to worry about drilling new holes or anything like that. Basically, just take the old mirror off, put this one in its place, and you're ready to go. This does have an OE-grade, flat glass to it. So it's going to give you a true representation of the object size behind you, and that glass is plated with a reflective Chrome.So it's going to give you a nice, clear image so you can see anything that's coming up from behind, or if you're backing up.

So it will give you a clear image to see all of that, to make sure that you're safe. It does have the manual mirror face adjustment, so you can adjust the angle to make sure that you're seeing correctly as you need to. It does also have the breakaway design. So if you we're to run into a pole or something like that, the mirror is going to fold in on itself to try and reduce the amount of damage done to the mirror and the housing. It does have a durable plastic housing with a textured black finish, as you can see here.

So it is going to be nice, blend in really well with your vehicle. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance, that this is going to work for you, this is going to be an exact replacement for the original equipment number that you can see on the screen there.So if you're looking in your owner's manual or your original mirror, and you see that number, you can trust that this is going to work for you. Now, this is just the passenger side mirror.
