Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K Source replacement side view mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your 1994 through 1997, Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500. It is modeled after your Ram's original look and fit. So you're really not going to be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror.

It's going to look like it came with your Ram right from the factory. So you don't have to worry about your Ram looking like it was pieced together from junkyard parts or anything like that. It's going to have a nice cohesive look to it. It does have the manual mirror face adjustment. So you can get that set to whatever angle you are needing.

It is an O'Reilly grade product. So it's going to have the same high quality materials as the mirror that came with your Ram from the factory.The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome. So it's going to give you a nice, clear image. It is a flat lens like most of driver's side mirrors. So it's going to give you a true representation of the objects behind you.

It does have the breakaway design. So it's going to fold in on itself if you we're to run into a parking post or the side of your garage or something like that, it will fold in to try and absorb some of that impact and minimize the damage to the mirror itself. It does have a durable plastic housing. You can see this is a very rough textured black finish here. So it's going to blend in nicely with your Ram going to give you that cohesive look.

And as far as the installation goes, it's going to be extremely simple. It's got the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror.So really all you have to do is take your old mirror off, put this one in its place, tighten down those nuts and you're ready to go. You're not going to have to worry about drilling new holes or glue or anything like that. So very simple installation. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for you, this is going to be a replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So as you're going through your owner's manual, you see that number, or you see it on the original mirror when you're taking it off, you can trust that this is going to be the replacement that you need.
