Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the CIPA Replacement Mirror available in driver and passenger side. Now this is gonna be a direct replacement for your OEM mirror but you're gonna wanna make sure to use the fit guide on our website to make sure that you're getting the proper fit for your vehicle. It's going to allow you to still have your electric mirror as well as defrost. Now, one of the questions you may have is is this mirror gonna look exactly as the OEM one Well, this is the OEM mirror and looking at both of them you really can't tell a difference. The quality, the fit, the finish, everything is OEM spec. Here they are side by side and I sure can't tell a difference.
Now it's important to use our fit guide because it is specifically designed for your vehicle to give you that great fit. And as you can see, the gaps here are just as good as OEM. There's really no anything that's causing me for concern to say that this isn't just as good as the mirror that was on it before. Now, the great part too is it uses a factory-style plug. It's gonna plug directly in allowing you to still have all of your adjustability of your mirror as well as the defrost.
I'm still able to fold this in just as OEM that way when I'm parking in a tight garage or if this makes contact, it's going to work just the same as the OEM one. Now a lot of times just as vehicles get older, things wear out. So the breakaway spring can get loose and cause the mirror to flop around, the motor or the controls may go out and that can cause you to have some issues especially when it comes to using your mirrors. It's a safety aspect and you wanna be able to have it working properly at all times. And that's the great part about this.
You can replace that mirror extremely quick and easy. It takes maybe about 15 minutes or so, and right away it already looks fresh. Everything's working perfect and we're back on the road. And that was a look at the CIPA Replacement Mirrors. Thanks for watching..
