Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source Replacement Side View Mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your 1988 through 2000 Chevrolet and GMC CK Series pickup, as well as your 2000 through 2002 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado. This is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. So you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror.

It should look like it came with your vehicle right from the factory, so you don't have to worry about that pieced together from the junkyard kind of look, it's all going to look very integrated and seamless. This does have the manual mirror face adjustment, so you can adjust to the correct angle for you. The glass is a reflective chrome finish. Plated with reflective chrome, so it's going to give you a nice, clear image. It is a flat lens, so that you get the true representation of the object size behind you.

So as you're backing up or looking at oncoming traffic coming up from behind you, and you'll be able to see how close they are.This is an OE grade product, so it's going to be the same quality of materials as the original, and it's got a durable plastic housing here with a black finish. So it's going to be really rugged and durable for you. Obviously not going to withstand any major crashes or anything like that, but should hold up well, just like your original. This does have the same footprint as the original, so it's going to be very easy to get installed. You're not going to have to worry about drilling of holes or anything like that, it's going to use the same mounting points as the factory mirror.

So it's just as simple as removing the original, putting this one on in it's place.Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this mirror is going to work for your application, this is going to be a replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you are going through your owner's manual, or when you take the original mirror off, if you see that number anywhere, you can trust this is the replacement that you need. And this is just the driver's side mirror. If you need the passenger side as well, we do have that here @etrailer.com, you can find it using the part number that you see on the screen there. So, hopefully you don't need both at the same time, but if you do, we have them both available for you.Overall, I think this is going to be a great option.

Give you that driver's side mirror again, so that you're going to be safe going down the road. You can see traffic that's passing you on your left-hand side and as you're backing up, have more visibility to ensure that you don't run into anything.
