Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this rug for your RV's exterior steps. This is a 22 inch wide rug. That's going to work for your 22 inch wide steps, or your 24 inch wide steps like we have here. You can see it is just gonna leave a little bit of gap on either side, which shouldn't take away much for you. It's still gonna provide plenty of space for you, as you're walking in and out of your RV.

It's gonna leave that little bit of exposed step there but that looks kind of stylish in my opinion. This will work for your straight steps, or your curved steps. It will work for your manual steps like we have here or for your electric step system. It's just gonna wrap around that step so that you have nice place to kind of wipe your feet off as you're going into your RV. Keep some of that dirt out, so you don't have to be cleaning your RV's floors as frequently.

This is a buckskin color, so it is pretty light. It will still do a good job of, hiding that dirt accumulation because of the brown there. So I think this is gonna be a good option for you. And this is a trail head, style. So it's kind of a dense, outdoor turf kind of abrasive.

I like walking around barefoot. So this wouldn't necessarily be my first pick, but it is gonna do a good job of keeping that dirt, allowing you to kind of wipe that dirt off your shoes. This is gonna be extremely durable. It's resistant to mold, mildew, and it's gonna resist, fading in the sun due to those UV rays. So it should last you for a nice long time.

It's extremely easy to clean, basically just hose it off with a garden hose and, let it air dry and you're ready to go. Another benefit of this style is that it is a solid design. So for those of you with pets, if you have holes in your steps, oftentimes that can be intimidating for pets they can see through. So they're hesitant to climb up and down the steps on their own. This is gonna give them that solid platform to, have the confidence to climb up into your RV by themselves. Now, this is just a single step, rug, as you can see, I've got a three-step system here. So obviously, if you have a three-step system, you're probably gonna work with three set, three piece option. We do have that available here at etrailer.com as well, but this is just for the single. I just don't have a single step here to show you, but this is gonna do a good job for that, single step to make sure that you can wipe your feet off. But let me show you how this is going to attach, to your steps, on the backside here, pull this closer, so you can kinda see a little bit better. We do have these four springs that are going to hold the two sides together on the backside of your step. It's gonna keep that tension on there so that your rugs not gonna move around on you. And you can see that this have, four kinda individual pieces, as we're cutting to four pieces on the backside, and that's to accommodate that curvature of your curved steps, but that will still work for your straight steps. It'll just be pulled tight, like normal. Excuse me. So, you can also see, we do have these four, grommet holes here, that is to accommodate different depth steps. So this will work for your eight inch deep, all the way up to 11 inch deep step, that just determine where you need to, hook your spring to make sure that that's gonna stay tight and secured to your step. So in addition to our springs, our steps rugs are, going to have these hook and loop strips, at the front and back. So the first time you install this, you'll just peel off that adhesive back in there, and get that start to the front and back of your step. And then you'll be able to, just kinda pull off, that hook and loop strip, anytime you're wanting to remove your rug. But that's going to provide that extra little connection points so that your rug stay in place. You're not gonna have to worry about them, moving around on your step. And then to get this installed, pretty simple. Just kinda, make sure that your, tails are tucked into the back side there, your short piece will be at the front. This is a little bit more difficult for me, 'cause I'm trying to do this on a three step system, and to show it to you once you're. If you're doing this on your own at home, it should be much simpler, just kind of drape this over your step, and pull up the side here. I like to kind of loop it over on itself. Like so. So kind of fix up some of that slack, and I'll grab a spring from one of the other ones here. There's one on the ground, I'll just use that one instead. So you kinda just pull up the backside there, get your spring hooked in place and then, hook down to the front. And that's gonna keep it nice and secure for you. Obviously you want to, do that same process for the other, three, pieces of the backside there, but I'm just gonna leave it there for now. Overall, I think this is gonna do a really nice job for you, making sure that your feet are kinda wiped off, as you're making your way into your RV, making sure that your pets have a solid platform to walk up on, and it's gonna be a nice look for you as well. Like I said, I'm not a huge fan of the turf style. I like more of the softer outdoor carpet, because I do like to be barefoot. So we have those available here at etrailer.com.
