Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Flair-It PEX Nail Adapter Fitting. Now, this RV freshwater or plumbing adapter is going to connect pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system, whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install new lines. This is going to work with your PEX pipes, the old, gray PB pipes, and polyvinyl tubing. This three eighths inch MPT connection is going to fit hoses or tubes with three eighths inch FPT fittings.
And this three eighths inch barbed connection on this end here, that's going to fit into three eighths inch inner diameter hoses and tubes. And the barbed connection with this compression nut means that you're not gonna need any tools to have a secure fit. Now, to install this, this is going to be relatively simple. You're going to begin with this compression end, or this compression nut, and you're going to slide that over the pipe first. And then you're going to take this adapter with the barbed end here, and then you're going to insert that into the pipe.
Now, this is going to take a little bit of doing. You are gonna have to probably rock this back and forth, and apply quite a bit of pressure to get that to slide into the pipe. But then once that's in, you're gonna bring this compression end, or this compression nut, back down, and then just thread that into place. Now, this is going to have a very secure connection once you have this adapter inserted into the pipe, and once you have that nut tightened down into place. We've been very impressed with how secure the connection was on other Flair-It fittings.
And while you can install this by hand and get this tightened down, if for whatever reason you ever have to remove this fitting from the pipe, it will take some effort to take this back out of the pipe. You might even have to use some tools, like a pair of ice scripts or something like that, to get this out. All that to say, once you have this installed, it's going to be a very secure connection for you, and you should never have to worry about it once you have that installed and in place. Now, this is constructed of polyoxyethylene, and so this is going to be very durable, and it's gonna be resistant to stress and cracking. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Had to wait for the ordered part to be in stock. However, that is not the fault of the supplier. Part was then shipped promptly. Installed same. Satisfied with the result.
