Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Flair-It PEX adapter fitting. This adapter is gonna connect your pipes and hoses in your RV's freshwater plumbing system. So whether you're repairing a leaky connection or installing a new line, this is gonna do a great job for you. It will work with PEX Pipes, your old gray PB type pipes, and your polyvinyl tubing. This does have the 3/4-inch NPS connection that's gonna fit your corrugated copper tubing with the 3/4-inch FPS fitting.
And then on this end, we're gonna have our 3/4-inch barbed connection that's gonna fit your hoses and tubes with a 3/4-inch inner diameter. That barbed connection with the compression end does make it very easy to get this installed. You're not gonna need to use any tools. Basically the way this will work, you'll slide that compression end on your pipe, and then you'll get that barb inserted into your pipe. It might take a little bit of wiggling to get that fully in place, but once that's in, you'll slide your end fitting back down, and then tighten that down, and that's gonna create a nice secure connection for you.
I actually tried this out myself the other night, and I was very impressed at how secure that fitting was. Like I said, it just tightens down by hand, but then to get it to let loose, I actually had to use some Vise-Grips to get that loose. So it's a very secure connection for you. One thing I will note is it can be kind of difficult to get that barb into that tube. So if you're in a confined space where you're not gonna have a lot of room to move around and push that in, you might wanna try putting that on the tube before you get into that confined space, just to make it a little bit easier for yourself.
But this is a polyoxymethylene construction, so it is gonna be very durable and resistant to stress cracking. So it will hold up well for you. And that completes our look for today. This is just one of the many connection fittings that we have available here at etrailer.com. So if you are going to be making multiple connections, I would encourage you to check out those other options, make sure you're gonna have everything you need for your project.
So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

Satisfied with the result.
Well made and easy to use. Unfortunately not the part I needed for my camper, but fixed my neighbors so all good.
