Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Flair-it PEX adapter fitting. This adapter is gonna connect your pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system. So whether you're repairing leaky connections or installing new lines, this will do a great job for you. This will work with your PEX pipes, the old gray PB pipes, and the polyvinyl tubing. On this end, we have our 3/4 inch MPT connection that's gonna fit hoses and tubes with a 3/4 inch FPT fitting.
On this end, we've got our 3/4 inch barbed connection that's gonna fit your hoses and tubes with a 3/4 inch inner diameter. So basically the way this works, you've got your barbed connection and the compression end which will allow you to get this installed without having to use any tools or anything like that. So you'll just slide that connection end over your hose and then you'll get that barbed fitting put into your pipe. That can take a little bit of doing, pushing that barb in, might take some wiggling back and forth. And then once that's fully inserted into your pipe, then you just tighten that down on the threads there, and that is going to create a nice solid hold for you.
I actually tried this out myself the other night and I was really impressed, just tightening it down by hand, what a solid connection that was. I actually had to use some vise grips to get that back off. So it is gonna be a very solid connection for you. One thing that will suggest, putting the barb in is very, it can be kind of difficult, so if you're in a confined space, might be a good idea to try and do that before you take the pipe or hose into that confined space so that you can get enough leverage on it to get it put in. But overall, very simple way of getting your pipes connected here.
This is a polyoxyethylene construction so it is gonna be very durable and resistant to stress and cracking. We do have other options of fittings available here at etrailer.com. So if you're making multiple connections for your plumbing system, I recommend take taking a look at those other options, make sure you've got all the connections that you're gonna need. And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
Thanks for watching.

Had to wait for the ordered part to be in stock. However, that is not the fault of the supplier. Part was then shipped promptly. Installed same. Satisfied with the result.
