Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. This light has a 3,210 raw lumen capacity and produces 2,247 effective lumens.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Vision X XPL off-road LED light bar. Now this low-profile LED light bar produces a bright white light 10 degree spot beam with focus illumination for seeing at a distance up to 919 feet away. This is gonna be ideal for off-road driving. I do have this hooked up to 12 volt power. I just wanted to give you a brief demonstration of what this light looks like. First, there is probably one of my favorite features of this light is an SAE-compliant, daytime running halo, which provides increased visibility during the day.
So as you can see, that has a very nice glow all around the LEDs of the light, the spot beams there. And so when you have that on during the day it's just gonna provide increased visibility for cars that are coming towards you. Let me turn my studio lights off here real quick. And again, you can kind of just see the nice glow that that gives and at a distance, which my camera doesn't focus too well there, so we'll just keep it here. So I'm gonna turn my studio lights to back on.
Along with the daytime running halo, there's also the main feature here, these six high-performance Cree LEDs. They have an effective lumens output of 2,247 lumens, and a raw lumen output of 3,210 lumens. So as you can see, very bright, even with my studio lights on. Let me go ahead and zoom out there a little bit. Even with my studio lights on, you can see how bright these are.
I'm gonna turn my lights off here and you see on the table, the brightness, and I'm gonna show this here or shine this on the wall behind me. And you can see just how bright that beam is there. Now, the diffusing lens and reflector system deliver optimal light distribution and the modulated diffusers remove hotspots or a glare from the lighting elements. I'm gonna turn my lights back on here. The long distance Iris reflectors amplify the brightness and project the light further.
Now this also includes this wiring harness. So let me go ahead and unhook the wiring harness so I can give you a closer look at it. So this is the wiring harness that's going to be included and also has the backlit power switch for easy control of the on and off function. And so this is gonna be included with your light. Now, the channeled fins on the housing is gonna let heat quickly dissipate to optimize LED performance. And this features a durable, water-resistant construction. This black powder-coated die-cast aluminum housing is rustproof, and it's durable. Speaking of its durability, a tough polycarbonate lens with scratch-resistant coating, it's gonna be impact resistant. This has an IP68 rating, meaning it stands up to dust, dirt and sand and it's resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes. It's an easy installation with multiple mounting options that includes adjustable brackets for both side mount and bottom mount applications, comes of course with the mounting hardware and the instructions. This has an input voltage of 9 to 32 volts DC, a wattage of 30 Watts, and a power draw at 12 volts of 2.5 amps. The operating temperature is negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. And the overall dimensions from end to end, is gonna be 9 1/2 inches long, 2 inches tall. In regards to the thickness, we're gonna be sitting at 2 3/16 inch thick. This does have a limited lifetime warranty and I'm very impressed with not only the build quality of this light and of course the brightness of the light. But again, one of my favorite features is that daytime running light, the halo lights around here. I think that's a great addition to a light like this. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank for joining me..
