Video Transcript for SPG Novelty Decals Review
Today we're going to be taking a look at how to install the SPG line of vinyl decals. Today we're going to be working with the Ducks Unlimited flat decal in white, part number SPGDDE1202. The first step in installing this product is going to be to pick the surface that you want to mount it to, whether it's going to be your glass or the surface on your truck. It will stick to almost any surface. You want to make sure that you're applying it to a nice, clean surface. To get started, we're going to mount ours to this location here, so we're just going to go ahead and spray some cleaning material on there, and wipe it off and get it nice and clean. Now that we have our surface all cleaned off, it never hurts just to go ahead and double check and make sure that that's the right location where you want to put it. You can leave the protective backing on the sticker portion. Match it up and make sure you know what's level, and then once you have the location set, then you can flip it around and we can peel off the adhesive backing. Once we have that peeled off, we can go ahead and apply this directly onto our surface.
Again, you want to make sure it's nice and level. Once we have it on there, we can just go ahead and press on the vinyl portion, making sure that we get a nice, secure adhesive stick to it. This is also a good time to just go ahead and work out any bubbles that you may have, little air pockets that got caught underneath it. What you can do is, you can actually just use a card, or any type of card. I'm going to use one of my gift cards today, out of my wallet. We can take that and just kind of work some of the bubbles out. Once we have it nice and firmly onto our surface, we can go ahead and take the clear portion of the sticker and start peeling it off.
It's easier if you start from one of the corners. Peel it off, and just like that, your decal's installed and you're ready to go. Vinyl material is a nice material to have. It's going to resist cracking and fading. This is an easy stick-on application, and it's also a safe removal as it will not harm the surfaces that you apply it to. That's going to complete today's review of the SPG line of vinyl decals. .
