Hard-plastic mud flaps will protect your vehicle, towed gear, and other cars on the road from rocks and debris. The back of each splash guard has grooves that channel salt and mud spray down towards the road. Wide enough to cover many dually tires.

Specs:
These truck or trailer mud flaps are 5/16" thick and constructed of polymer, or hard plastic, which is more rigid than rubber and won't sail in the wind. The durable construction can withstand subfreezing temperatures, so these flaps won't get brittle when the rain turns to snow and ice. And despite being more stiff than rubber, these flaps still have enough give to bend rather than break if they hit something on the road.
The backside of each flap features grooves that disperse water and repel mud spray away from your tires. These vertical grooves direct the spray down towards the road to keep your undercarriage from getting covered in grime, which can cause corrosion.
If you're simply replacing your mud flaps and you already have mounting brackets in place, just line up the pre-drilled holes on these flaps with your mounting plate and reuse your existing hardware. If the holes don't quite line up, you can easily drill new ones.
If you're installing mud flaps for the first time, you'll need to purchase mounting plates (sold separately) and weld them onto your truck or trailer to create attachment points for the flaps. To ensure the most secure attachment, add on bolt hole reinforcement plates (337MFW2375) to keep the flaps from tearing away from the mounts.

Today we'll be taking a look at the Buyers Products mud flaps. These are made of a durable heavy duty polymer material that's going to be a white polymer. So these are going to be a little bit stiffer than your typical rubber mud flaps to help do a better job of hanging down and actually protecting your vehicle from that mud, road spray, dirt and debris from getting kicked up and causing any damage to your vehicle or your trailer or wherever you're going to be mounting these onto. They also have this ridged or ribbed design. That's also going to help to keep road stray or over spray to a minimum since it won't be able to spread out. It's going to get caught by those channels and then go on down the mat or down the mudflap. We'll have two flaps that this comes with, so we'll have one for either side of our vehicle.
These are able to also withstand subfreezing temperatures and resist any snow or ice build up so we don't have to worry about that being an issue for using these up north or in winter conditions. Our mudflaps measure about 30 inches long. The one I have here is about 30 1/2 inches, and then about 24 inches wide. This one is about 24 1/8 inch wide, so a little bit of variance there, but pretty close to the mark. We'll have four mounting holes up at the top. The distance between those center to center is about 7 inches.
It's not quite exact. We'll have these elongated holes so we can make a little bit of adjustment there. It's about just shy of 7 inches. The one I'm measuring here, so about 6 7/8.They will be pretty thick. It measures just under 1/2 inch at 7/16 I'd say.
So pretty close to 1/2 inch, but not quite. They just have a plain finish. We'll have our ridges on the one side. Flip it over. It has sort of a fine textured finish on the other.
Again, we do get two mud flaps, and these are made in the USA. And that's going to do it for our look at the Buyers Products mud flaps.
