Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Risk Racing Lock-N-Load Mini pro dirt bike anchoring system. This dirt bike transport system is going to secure your bike in your trailer or truck bed with jaws that are going to actually clamp down on the foot pegs of your bike. So the benefit of a system like this is that you can secure your bike without the need for tie-down straps, floor anchors, or wheel chocks. And this has the additional benefit of reducing the pressure on your fork seals by distributing pressure to your bike's front and rear suspension. Now this fully-adjustable ratcheting system is going to let you quickly load and unload your bikes with a simple flip of the locking switches. So looking at the back of this again here, as you can see, we have these switches here.
And when you are ready to secure your bike in this system what you need to do first is just flip these switches down and then you are going to move your bike up in between these posts. And then you want to make sure that your foot pegs are right underneath these jaws here. And once you are in place, all you have to do is push down and then that's going to lock these jaws down on the foot pegs of your bike. Now it is suggested to actually sit on your bike and that's going to compress your suspension on your bike a little bit. And then once you're sitting on your bike, and once your bike is in place, just use your foot to push down these posts and then that's really going to secure it in place whether it's in the bed of your truck or in your trailer.
And the rubberized jaw pads are going to keep your bike more secure, plus they're going to protect your foot pegs, so you're not gonna have to worry about your foot pegs getting scuffed or scratched up or anything like that. Now when you're ready to move your bike out of your truck bed or out of your trailer and you're ready to hit the road or the trail, you're just going to flip those locking switches up and then give a slight push down on these posts and then they're going to come right up and your bike is free and you are ready to roll. I want to put a photo on your screen, a few photos, actually of just an example of what this looks like in operation. So you see it there holding the bike on the top picture, then an example of what a system like this is going to look like in your truck bed. Now this is going to fit 50-cc junior to 100-cc MX bikes or bikes with a similar geometry and with two stroke or four stroke engines.
This is gonna work with bike widths from 12 inches to 21 inches and a foot peg height from 8 1/2 inches to 12 inches. And this has a maximum weight capacity of 200 pounds. Now you can adjust and remove the post quickly by loosening these hand knobs and that's going to allow you to quickly adjust the width. And then if you need to remove them, they're just going to slide right out of this base like so. And you're really gonna have a low profile mounting plate here, that's not gonna cause much obstruction for you at all.
These mounts can be staggered to avoid handlebar interference, letting you haul more bikes if you desire. And then these are just going to slide right back into place and then you can adjust your width how you see fit and then tighten down these hand knobs. Now I took some measurements of this plate before our time together. So the overall width of the plate itself, we're sitting right about 21 1/4 inches and the length is about 6 3/4 inches long. And then this sticks up about half an inch or so. Now this is sturdy, yet lightweight. This is made out of a sturdy aluminum construction and so it's gonna be sturdy enough to handle your bikes, but very lightweight. It's not gonna be an issue at all to put this on a shelf in your garage when this is not in use. Now this does include the mounting hardware that you are going to need to install this in your trailer or in the bed of your truck, and really a great instruction sheet here to walk you through the installation process. So if you are looking for a fast, safe, secure, and convenient way to secure your dirt bike in your trailer or in your truck bed, this is really going to be a great option for you to consider. Well that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
