Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at Coghlan's Medium Packing Cube. If you're looking for a nice and convenient way to keep your luggage or your clothing organized in a bigger piece of luggage, this might be a good option for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at it. This packing cube is made out of gray ripstop nylon that is light, but surprisingly durable.

And it has a sewn in handle here, that is gonna make this particular cube easy to carry and to hang as well. easy to carry and to hang as well. So the stitching is really nice on this bag. That handle is gonna be very secure for you. Now what's nice about this packing cube is it can double in size it can double in size with this panel that can be unzipped and expanded.

So I'm gonna go ahead and open that up. And you just zip all the way around and then this packing cube will double in its capacity. and then this packing cube will double in its capacity. So, that's a really nice feature. And then if you don't need all of that space, or if you just need to store it, you can just easily close that panel back up.

Now, while I have this open, I would like to show you how you could use this. Again, I see this being very handy to keep particular items of your clothing separate to keep particular items of your clothing separate from other pieces of your clothing in your luggage. So for instance, if you we're traveling to a location that was cooler than the one that you left, or if you're maybe hiking or backpacking or if you're maybe hiking or backpacking and you want to have easy access to a coat, because it got a little bit cooler than what it was when you originally got there, this would be a good way just to store a coat in your luggage. And when you are ready to use it, you can just open up your bigger piece of luggage and pull this bag out and your coat is in there ready to go. And being that this is already expanded, it holds this coat with no problem at all.

The zippers here by the way are double-headed zipper. So you can just open this, move the zippers either way, open it up and zippers are really nice on here. Very secure and easy to use. Very secure and easy to use. These are also good for shoes. If you want to, your shoes are maybe a little bit dirty on the bottom and you don't want them to be rubbing up against your clothing in your bigger piece of luggage. I have a size 12, size 12 shoes in there. And again, you can just put that in there, close it up, and they're separate from your other pieces of clothing and that big piece of luggage, won't get them dirty, and then it's easily accessible if you need them. The front cover also has this nice mesh material. So everything in here will you have nice airflow it's breathable, so you don't have to worry about mustiness or anything like that. And then to close this back up, on the expansion panel, if you want to close that back up, what I recommend is just kind of running your finger or your thumb behind the zipper, or your thumb behind the zipper, so it doesn't get caught on the nylon accidentally. And then you can just go ahead and hold that around. And we'll get that back down nice and compact. nice and compact. I'll give you some measurements here. And just to see how tall this bag is, when it's compacted and there's nothing in it. And if you want to include the handle there, we are setting right at about 13 inches tall. 13 inches tall. And it's length, it's length we are looking, right at about 10 inches. And then when it's closed, And then when it's closed, the width is sitting right at about three inches. And of course, when you expand this, you're gonna be doubling your size. So you'll be right at about six inches when this is fully expanded.
