Sailcloth Replace-A-Top will mount over your vehicle's factory bow support hardware only (as pictured above).
The sailcloth is held in place by attaching it to the existing Belt-Rail channel-mount system - an easy yet secure system designed for quick installation and removal of your soft top.
Bestop Sailcloth Replace-A-Top soft tops use a three-ply fabric to reduce road noise by up to 50 percent more than vinyl denim tops, enhancing insulation for a superior all-around ride. An outside vinyl layer protects against the weather, the center vinyl layer reduces exterior noise and improves interior installation, and a poly cotton layer inside stabilizes the fabric.
The top is constructed of industrial-strength fabric and has sealed seams for endurance. Sailcloth fabric maintains its shape in all weather conditions and deters temperature-induced shrinkage, making cold-weather installation trouble free. The top also resists waves and wrinkling more than conventional tops and is easy to clean. Reinforcements ensure a snug fit at the rear corners, reducing wind noise.
Heavy-duty YKK zippers make it simple to remove and install the heat-sealed, DOT-approved windows. 31-Percent tinted windows are included with this model.

The top attaches to the factory hardware for easy installation and a secure fit.Everything fit great, the door skins are a pain to put on. Thankful my wife has Krout making hands, get a shoe horn! for real. The instructions say the imperfections will settle out, we will see. I do have a weird dimple in top above passenger door and the door skin on same side doesn’t sit right. See pictures, I tucked weather proofing in and will see if it conforms. All in all way better than my old top. Still trying to figure out rebate.
A terrific replacement top for my '97 Wrangler TJ. I put it on (single handedly) in the garage and temp was 55 degrees. It fit fine and is nice and snug. I am so glad I ordered the 28 oz sail cloth. I wish I had it as the factory top years ago. Top notch service AND pricing from etrailer. I received sameday personal notes answering my questions and delivery status. Thanks. We have had this top for one year and it really is the best top out there. We have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler. The quality of this top is absolutely top notch. We have not had one issue and it is so easy to take up and down and to take completely off and put back on the Jeep. Thank you for a product well made. This product was everything we could hope it would be. Not being particularly young or strong we solicited help putting it on. It tightened in the sun and looks as good and fits as tightly as the factory installed top. We are exceedingly satisfied with our purchase.
