Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen, here at etrailer.com. And we're going to be taking a quick look at the trailer hitch receiver cover for your Montreal Canadians. This is going to be a nice way to protect your hitch and also show your pride for your hometown team. So you can see we'll have our officially licensed logo here on the front. This is also just going to easily mount into our two inch by two inch hitch, with the included spring clip pin here.
So it's just this kind of little V-shaped guy that fits right in there. So I'm going to try to take this out, so I can actually show that to you.So it just sits in there, and it provides that spring tension to keep that in place. So you don't have to worry about having any other extra accessories to keep this in your hitch. Although if you want to, you can take this out, remove it and utilize a hitch pin and clip or a locking hitch pin. It's up to you.
If you want to go that route, you would have to purchase one separately. A lot of options available here@etrailer.com or you can always reuse one, if you already have one. Getting that back in there, it's pretty simple. Just have to kind of coax it back into place. It does, again, fit into that two inch by two inch hitch.
So just springs in place there. And there's even little spot, if you do decide to use this clip for attaching a very small padlock. You just need to find one that has an eighth inch shackle bolt diameter. Again, some of those are available here at etrailer.com, if you want to pick one up.That logo is going to be covered with a nice protective layer. It's going to stay looking nice for a long time.
It does have some reflectiveness in the silver bits around the perimeter, and then also within the logo itself. It is made in the U.S. And is made of a durable abs plastic construction. The face of our hitch cover measures six inches by about three and a half inches. That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Montreal Canadiens NHL trailer hitch receiver cover. Looks great on my car. Made of pretty cheap plastic but it was inexpensive. The only thing I don’t like is the latches to hold it in the hitch are too far back, so I can’t actually use them. If I used the hitch cover, so the latches fit with the holes, the hitch cover would be poking out a couple of inches.

Another great product from etrailer. Super communication from the staff! The receiver cover fits perfectly and has a removable hitch clip if you want to remove it and install a lock. I only recommend getting the Avalanche logo because, no matter the Avs record or where they are in the standings, they really are the best team in the NHL. :)

Looks great! I just hope it lasts as it’s a decal stuck on a plastic mount. I know it wasn’t super expensive, but I think I’d prefer it to be something more durable. We’ll see how it goes.
