Hey everyone I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a quick look at the Calgary flames NHL trailer, hitch receiver cover. So the reason why you want to get one of these guys, cause you have a hitch and you want to keep it protected whenever you're not using another hitch mounted accessory like a bike rack or a cargo carrier. Whenever that hitch is exposed to the elements, especially up North things tend to get a bit rusty or fill with dirt, if you go off road. So by having a hitch cover in place, it's going to help to keep that free and clear. So whenever you do go to use your accessory, it's a little easier to get that in and out.
So this is just going to be a little hitch cover shows off our love for the Calgary flames. So we can have a little bit of team spirit while we're out on the road.It's pretty easy to get this guy installed. Just inserts into your hitch receiver tube comes with this little kind of V-shaped pin that goes into the tube there. Springs between your hitch pin holes to hold that in place, you can squeeze those two ends together and then pull this piece out and replace it with a hitch pin and clip or a locking hitch pin. If you prefer to have something a little bit more sturdy, you can also get a teeny tiny padlock to go with this.
So you just want to get one that has an eight inch shackle bolt diameter. We do have some of those padlocks available here at etrailer.com and also hitch pins and clips and locking hitch pins, if you're interested, but you don't have to do that. It's just an option if you want.The size is a two inch by two inch, so it'll fit into a two inch by two inch receiver tube. The outer edge of our actual face here is six inches wide and then three and a half inches tall. So pretty small, pretty low key, but it's going to have that nice officially licensed logo for the flames and it is made out of an abs plastic.
So, that's going to be a more durable plastic than a lot of other ones you see. It shouldn't shatter or break apart or crumble or anything like that. It should be pretty well up to the task to being out in the elements on our vehicle. It is made in the USA and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Calgary flames, two inch NHL trailer hitch receiver cover. Looks great on my car. Made of pretty cheap plastic but it was inexpensive. The only thing I don’t like is the latches to hold it in the hitch are too far back, so I can’t actually use them. If I used the hitch cover, so the latches fit with the holes, the hitch cover would be poking out a couple of inches.

Another great product from etrailer. Super communication from the staff! The receiver cover fits perfectly and has a removable hitch clip if you want to remove it and install a lock. I only recommend getting the Avalanche logo because, no matter the Avs record or where they are in the standings, they really are the best team in the NHL. :)

Looks great! I just hope it lasts as it’s a decal stuck on a plastic mount. I know it wasn’t super expensive, but I think I’d prefer it to be something more durable. We’ll see how it goes.
I got a the "Don't Tread on Me" trailer hitch for my classic 2002 Chevy trailblazer. It came quickly and in perfect condition. It was a perfect fit for my hitch and I think it looks pretty good. Attached is a picture of it from earlier right before I headed into work at the Georgia Aquarium.
Anything Seahawks I'm always happy with but this is made with plastic and I'm hoping with the weather it won't crack. Other than that it's great
