Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Honda Pilot Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover for two inch hitches. Now, a cover like this serves at least two purposes. First, you can show your pride in owning a Honda Pilot, while at the same time keeping your hitch receiver free and clear of any kind of rust and dirt buildup. Frequently, when you leave your hitch receiver open, it can build up with rust and debris, and that's gonna make it a little more difficult to insert your accessories like a bike rack. So by keeping this hitch cover installed, you're going to be keeping your receiver clean while showing your pride in being a Honda Pilot owner. Now, this is, as you can see here, an officially licensed product by Honda, so it is going to integrate well with your Pilot's look, so that you have a matching look between your hitch cover and your vehicle.

This laser marked logo and lettering on this stainless steel face plate is, as you can see, bold and very easy to read. This is made in the USA and it is of a stainless steel construction, so it's going to be rust-proof, and it's gonna stand up well to the elements. And again, this is gonna fit two inch trailer hitch receivers, and if you noticed here, there are three different hitch pin holes that are drilled onto this, and the reason for that, is this is going to line up to different depths of pin holes for your different hitches. So this is gonna be a quick installation, the cover's going to easily slide into your two inch trailer hitch receiver. This does require a pin and clip, this does not include a pin and clip, so if you don't have that already, that would be a separate purchase.

And just to give you some overall dimensions, the overall width is gonna sitting right at 5 1/4 inches, the overall height, we're gonna be sitting right at three inches. Also, if you are in need of a pin and clip to secure this, I would recommend taking a look at Curt's pin and clip for two inch and 2 1/2 inch hitches, it's a 5/8 of an inch in diameter, you can find that on our website using item number C21510. Personally, I would recommend picking up a hitch receiver lock to secure this to your hitch receiver, just in case another Honda Pilot owner likes the look of this and decides to yank it off your hitch receiver.
