Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Texas Christian University with chrome logo emblem hitch cover for your two-inch hitch receiver. Now, a cover like this is going to serve at least two purposes for you. You can show your Horned Frog pride while at the same time, keeping your hitch receiver free and clear of any kind of rust and dirt buildup. Frequently, whenever you leave your hitch receiver open, it can build up with rust and debris that will make it a little more difficult to insert your accessories such as your bike rack.
So, by having this hitch cover installed, you are going to be keeping your hitch receiver clean while showing your pride in being a TCU fan with this officially licensed hitch cover. Now, the chrome plated metal emblem is rustproof and fade proof. And it stands out on this black powder coated cover. And this all together, hitch cover here, it's all black powder coated so that's gonna also protect it against rust and corrosion. Now, again, this is going to fit your two-inch trailer hitch receiver.
And if you notice there is a foam gasket here that's going to prevent this hitch cover from rattling. So, this is going to be a quick installation. This cover's gonna easily slide into your two-inch hitch receiver. It does however require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. Those are sold separately.
This does not include that. And if you do not already have a lock or a pin and clip, I would recommend taking a look at some of the options that I have there on your screen. If you just need a regular pin and clip, I have the item number there for an option there for you on your screen. But since this is a more premium cover, I would recommend taking a look at our etrailer trailer hitch receiver lock for two-inch hitches. And you can just take those item numbers, put it in the search field of our website, and it'll take you to those items.
Now, just some overall measurements to give you an idea of the overall size here. This is sitting right at about five inches wide and about 3 1/2 inches tall. Let me wind that up a little bit better for you. And then if you're interested in the measurement from the back of the face plate to the hitch pin hole, we're sitting right at about 2 1/2 inches of the center of that hitch pin hole. Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.

I am very pleased with the new hitch cover I ordered from etrailer.com. It was reasonably priced and is made of outstanding material. Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.

I took about a month shopping before I purchased. The one thing I didn't want was a cheap plastic hitch cover representing my team. Thanks for your message and following up a year later! I have purchased two of these hitch covers for both of our cars. I'll attach pictures. I believe the first one I bought was 2 years ago and the second was a year ago. The two year old cover has shown a great deal of rust and deterioration over those two years. The other one is in much better shape but I would expect the same to happen over this next year.
I do live in Pittsburgh, a very rainy and humid climate for most of the year. Obviously in winter months, we get a lot of snow and ice with the roadways covered with salt. I'm sure those factors contribute to the rusting of this product.
I'll be happy to log in and make a review post similar to above if you would like me to. I have been a happy customer of yours with a few of these similar products.

This was not checked for quality prior to shipping from the manufactor or the seller. My logo is off center at the bottomand over to the passenager side. Also my logo is crooked tilting up toward the passenager side. Tried calling customer service but the line has not been manned since I recieved this product. Overall a disappointing experience.
