Ellen: Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a really quick look at the 25 foot tape measure. This is a really handy tool to have for just about any kind of project you might want to work on. You always want to measure twice cut once. So it's very important to make sure that you have a good tape measure so you can get that job done.So let's take a closer look and talk a little bit more about what kind of features this guy has. Now they say this should be able to handle pretty rough treatment. So if you drop it, it shouldn't have a chance to shatter on you.
This little button down here at the bottom helps to hold it in place. It's a quick stop so you don't have to push down on this thing, which is nice just to give that a quick little break rather than the full push down on that lever to stop it in place.The readout is pretty easy to see, it's pretty clean. So I think that does a pretty good job of labeling out all the measurements that you want to see. And this goes down to the eighth and it actually has the eighths marked out, which is nice. Sometimes it can be a little tricky.
And it looks like there's hashes even for thirty-seconds here. So, I also like that it has metric on the same line. So if you're having to do stuff in metric, you can figure that out, use just one tape measure for any of those measurements.It seems to move pretty smooth. It comes right back, springs back into place. It's got a little clip on the back so you can put that on your belt.
It also swivels around, so if you want to just take a measurement, literally from the hip, you can swing that out and do that. All in all, it should be a pretty nice little tool to have on just about any tool belt or in your toolkit.That's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the tape measure.
