Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we'll be taking a quick look at the Magnifying Glass from Performance Tools. This has a built in light to help you see what you're doing and see what you're looking at. So, especially if you're in an area that's pretty dark, or maybe not a lot of light where you're trying to look, it might help to give a little bit more illumination to that area. It is made from.. Or it has a nice overbuilt frame so even if you happen to drop this, it shouldn't shatter on you.
Of course you want to be kind of careful with it, it is made out of glass, so it isn't the most durable thing, but it should be relatively protected from any kind of bumps or drops that it might happen.As far as the magnifying power, it magnifies up to three times without any kind of distortion so I know it's going to be kind of hard for you to see that here. I've got some packaging just to give you an idea, sort of the magnifying glass power of our glass. So of course, as you kind of move away, it gives you a little bit more magnification. Coming closer, it gets a little bit more clear. As far as how bright, I'll turn it on and then turn off my studio lights here.
So it's just enough to give you a way to see what's going on if it's really dark, you can clearly read. I know it's going to be hard for you guys to see that on camera, but for me here in the studio, it's actually not too bad. So just to kind of give you that idea, it's just that one little LED down there so it helps to give you a clear view of what's going on.It does require three AG13 battery button cells, they are included with this. To get access in there you just need a little Phillips head screwdriver to pop, open this little panel and replace those out. That's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the Magnifying Glass with LED.
