Today we're going to take a look at the Reese custom under bed insulation kit for Toyota Tundra trucks. This is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007, the 2016 Toyota Tundra with an 8-foot bed, and on any custom-fit part, I always like to recommend to go to our website and use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now this under bed installation kit for this video, you've seen I've installed these parts all together just to give you an idea what this will look like when it's installed under your vehicle. This will allow quick, easy installation of draw-tight or Reese goose-neck trailer hitch to your vehicle. It is rated to match your manufacturer's vehicle tow-weight rating. It does use the existing holes in your vehicle frame, so there's no drilling required into the truck frame. It bolts on very easily, no welding required.
It does come with the mounting hardware. There is no need to raise your truck bed on most models to install this, and it does not require removal of your exhaust for installation. It does come with some spacer shims that are used to protect your truck bed corragation from any collapse. Now, a note on this, it will not fit the crew-max models that have a 5 1/2-foot bed, and it is not compatible with any of the above-bed goose-neck heads, fold-down and removable. Now, you can use it with a hide-a-goose, under bed goose-neck hitch, but when you do install that in here, the hitch ball cannot be stored upside-down in the hitch head, and to prevent that, they include this ball-blocker plate that you install when put your hide-a-goose in here, and that should prevent you from turning the ball over.
