The impressive 5/16" tall treads create deep trenches for liquid and debris and aid in scraping mud from your shoes. The lip along the outer edge of each semi-rigid mat ensures that mud, rock, ice, snow, water, and sand will be trapped inside the liners - not free to ooze onto your carpet.
Plus, raised walls surround the small cutouts in the front mats - which secure to factory attachment points on your vehicle's floor - keeping messes from seeping through.
Durability You Can Depend On
Bestop's liners are durable enough to handle whatever you track into your vehicle and to stand up to heavy use over time. The thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) construction means that these liners are built to stay strong without tearing or losing their shape, even through exposure to extreme temperatures and damaging debris, UV rays, and chemicals.
The bottom of each Bestop floor liner is covered with strong, molded nibs that firmly grip your vehicle's carpet without causing damage. The nibs keep the liners from shifting out of place and exposing your carpet to damaging dirt and moisture. The nibs also work in conjunction with a small cutout in each front mat - each cutout slips over a factory-installed hook to anchor the mat to the floor. On the driver's side, the nibs and the hook prevent the liner from sliding up under the pedals, providing a safer driving experience.

Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to be taking a look at the Bestop custom floor liners for the front and rear in black, part number D515301-510401. Here's what our floor liners look like once they're fully installed. They're going to give us adequate protection, much more than the factory mats and they're going to follow the contours of our vehicle perfectly. They are custom molded so it is going to follow those lines. It's going to have raised sidewalls to keep any of the contaminants: water, mud, dirt, or whatever kind of debris that we may have on our shoes from getting on our carpet. Compared to other mats, this mat's going to be more of a rugged design and, as you can see, with the tread, it's going to come up 5/16 of an inch that way it's going to keep our feet out of the water and channel it in between the treads, keeping our feet dry and it's also giving us a nice, secure grip. Our mats are made of a durable TPE material and they're going to withstand extreme temperatures, automotive chemicals and even UV rays. As we can see, even on our passenger side they're going to have the factory cut outs for the anchor points and just to give it extra security they're going to have a wall going around the anchor point so it's not going to have to worry about any leakage or any drainage from the water that's on the mat getting onto our carpet.
If we look on the bottom of our mat we're going to have a bunch of little nibs on the bottom and that's going to grab onto the carpet and along with our anchor points it's going to help keep our mat secure and keep it from sliding around. Our kit is going to come with the front and the rear as well and it's not only going to cover where our passenger seats go, it's also going to cover the center section so our entire carpet of the rear area is covered and protected. Now this is a custom floor liner set and that's why it's going to follow the lines of our Jeep perfectly and even right here where the seat bolts to the floor we're going to have a nice cut out that's going to go around there perfectly. Whether we've got a bunch of mud, dirt, snow, whatever it is that's on our mats and we need to clean them, cleaning's going to be extra easy. Simple remove the mats, hose them down, let them dry out in the sun and then reinstall them. We're going to finish off the look at the Bestop custom auto floor liners for the front and rear in black, part number D5151301-5150401 on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

They seem to be a very well made product. In my Jeep Wrangler Sahara, the floor mats do not fit tight on the door side which lets dirt get on the carpet.
