The impressive 5/16" tall treads create deep trenches for liquid and debris and aid in scraping mud from your shoes. The lip along the outer edge of each semi-rigid mat ensures that mud, rock, ice, snow, water, and sand will be trapped inside the liners - not free to ooze onto your carpet.
Plus, raised walls surround the small cutouts in the mats - which secure to factory attachment points on your vehicle's floor - keeping messes from seeping through.
Durability You Can Depend On
Bestop's liners are durable enough to handle whatever you track into your vehicle and to stand up to heavy use over time. The thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) construction means that these liners are built to stay strong without tearing or losing their shape, even through exposure to extreme temperatures and damaging debris, UV rays, and chemicals.
The bottom of each Bestop floor liner is covered with strong, molded nibs that firmly grip your vehicle's carpet without causing damage. The nibs keep the liners from shifting out of place and exposing your carpet to damaging dirt and moisture. The nibs also work in conjunction with a small cutout in each mat - each cutout slips over a factory-installed hook to anchor the mat to the floor. On the driver's side, the nibs and the hook prevent the liner from sliding up under the pedals, providing a safer driving experience.

Today on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we'll be taking a look at the Bestop Custom Auto Floor Liners for the front, part number B5150001. Even with us already vacuuming out our floor here on our driver side before we install our mat, you can see how dirty and stained the carpet is. That's why we want to have a nice set of floor mats in our vehicle to help protect it, so we'll go ahead and slide that in position. Slide it up underneath our pedals and we'll attach the hook to help hold it in place. With it clipped in place, we don't have to worry about it going anywhere now. I like to point out the nice contours it has around our center near 00:00:44 console, around our seat, and around our door jamb here. It has a nice raised edge around the entire perimeter, as well, to help contain any spills that may occur.
We have these nice deep 5/16 of an inch tread pattern on the mat to help channel mud, dirt, and water away from our feet so we don't have to worry about our feet slipping off our pedals while we're driving our vehicle. We have great coverage underneath our pedals to help protect our carpet. Also, this mat is constructed of a very durable material which won't crack, tear, or deform over time. Comes with a limited life-time warranty. Now, not only does our mat fit very nicely in the vehicle which will help hold it in place and has the hook to grab onto, but we also have these little spikes here which will help dig into the carpet to help hold it in place, as well. Now on our passenger side, the mat installs in exactly the same way.
Just clip it in place, set it down, and you see it offers the same great features as our driver side mat. We have extended coverage to help contain any spills that may occur and extended coverage that will also protect the carpet, so we don't have to worry about our carpet getting damaged over time. You have the same unique tread pattern design here, the same deep channels in the tread pattern to help direct away that water flow, and help protect the carpet. We also have expanded coverage underneath the dash so we want to stretch out after a long day of riding on the trails. We'll be able to stretch our feet out without worrying about staining the carpet. For when our mats are dirty, we can take them out of the vehicle, hose them off in our driveway with a garden hose, use some soap if we need to, let them air dry, and place them back in the vehicle once they're dry. They seem to be a very well made product. In my Jeep Wrangler Sahara, the floor mats do not fit tight on the door side which lets dirt get on the carpet.
