The chains I purchased were good with the grip in the snowy conditions, but there was a constant clanking noise that I could not resolve. I tried to tighten them multiple times and reconfigure them each time following the instructions detail by detail. I could bot reach speeds above 20 miles per hour or the clanking would be unbearable. No damage done, but still don't know why I had so much trouble with the clanking against my wheel wells
I haven't had to open this first aid yet but it is compact and is a great addition to our car emergency kit.
