Today I'm gonna take a look at the Reese Max Duty Underbed Custom Mounting System for gooseneck and fifth wheel hitches on your Chevrolet and GMC half ton trucks. Has a 14,000 pound weight rating. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks.
And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Basically, this will install this mounting underbed mounting system, will install on your half ton truck to tow either with the Reese M4 Max Duty fifth wheel, or the Max Duty gooseneck hitch. Now, the Max Duty fifth wheel hitch it works with is part number RP72VR, and we do sell that separately. I want to pop up an insert to show you what that looks like. And it will also work with the Reese Max Duty Above Bed gooseneck trailer hitch, which is part number RP62VR, and I'll pop up an insert to show you what that looks like.
Both of those will fit into this underbed mounting system. As we mentioned, it is a vehicle-specific design. Gives you shorter installation time, less drilling required. And as we mentioned, use the vehicle lookup at the top of the product page to find the right fit for your truck. This is a underbed puck system, so when this is installed, all this would be under the bed.
