Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Curt Semi-Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit with the dark gray base rails for the Dodge Ram 1500 trucks. Now, this part will fit the 2009 to 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks, fits the 2010 to 2018 Ram 1500 trucks with coil springs, excluding the Limited models, and 2019 and newer Ram 1500 Classic trucks with the coil springs. Now, because this fits so many different vehicles, I do wanna mention to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this kit here is a complete installation kit, allows you to install a 5th wheel to your truck bed. The kit will include everything shown here on the table.

It includes the semi-custom fit mounting brackets right here, it includes both base rails, all the hardware you need for installation, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how this all goes together. Now, the mounting brackets, these will mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your 5th wheel rails to attach to. These do have a nice black powder coat finish on to resist corrosion. And as we mentioned, these are semi-custom brackets, so they are required if you're not using a custom mounting bracket kit. These will provide a semi-custom fit, and it'll cut down the installation time when compared with the universal bracket kits.

Drilling is required. Now, the base rails right here, these will sit in your truck bed, they allow the installation of the 5th wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle. These rails are visible in your truck bed. If you noticed, this kit here has the rails with the dark gray finish on them to match the color of your 5th wheel hitch. And these rails are industry standard rails that are compatible with B&W, Curt, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky above-bed 5th wheel trailer hitches.
