Installation
To wire this strobe warning beacon for a double flash, connect the red wire to a power source. To wire the light for a quad flash, connect both the red and purple wires to a power source.

This will flash to warn motorists and pedestrians of your vehicle's presence. It helps provide a warning signal to increase safety. And SAE class 2 lights are intended for use on authorized maintenance and service vehicle's.
They will serve as a warning signal to alert drivers and the pedestrians of traffic hazards such as slow-moving vehicles. It's ideal for towing, plowing, transportation, warehouse, and agriculture applications. The strobe function can be wired in two ways. It can be wired for a double flash or a quad flash. The way you would do that, it has three wires, a black, red, and purple.
The black will always be the ground, so you ground that. If you wire it with the red in the ground, that would give you the dual or the double strobe function on the light. If you wire it with the ground, the red, and the purple, all three wires wired in will give you the quad flash strobe function. And it can be connected to your battery or hardwired into your vehicle. The bulb of this is a xenon gas discharge bulb, which is highly efficient and long lasting.
The lens is a polycarbonate finish with a sealed housing, and is durable and very weather resistant. Now it does permanently mount with the base. It comes with a foam pad to put under the base to help seal it. It also has the stainless steel hardware for mounting. This part is made in the U.S.A.
