Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this two pack of Coghlans red glow sticks. Now these glow sticks are extremely versatile. You can use them in all sorts of situations. There are going to be weatherproof, so you can use them outside in any sort of weather.
So whether you're camping, hiking, if the kids are out trick or treating, you want to help to keep a better eye on them, anything like that. But they're also submergeable, so if you want to use them as dive lights, they'll work great in that situation as well. So just about anything where it's going to be a low light or dark situation, these will work great for you. They do both come in these foil wrappers that help protect the glow stick from humidity and sunlight. If you keep them sealed up in there, they should last for up to four years.
Then when you pull them out, you can see we do have these plastic lanyards that will allow us to very easily wear this around our neck to be a signal light for us. Or we could hang this from inside by the, inside of a tent or something along those lines, just to provide a little bit of a light for us. To activate these, it's extremely simple. All you have to do is bend it until it snaps, and then shake it up. So, very easy to activate like so.
You can see, it's going to have that nice red glow to it. Not super bright. It's not going to cast light on objects around you, but it will be very visible in the dark so that we can keep an eye on the little ones wearing it. Those sorts of things. It is going to last for up to 12 hours once you have it activated.
And the nice thing about it being that red soft glow is that it's not going to attract insects like bright white lights do. So it is going to be really good for being outdoors, just keeping an eye on, or having a signal light, that sort of thing, without having to worry about attracting those insects and will last up to 12 hours for you. I had a problem with an order a couple of years ago. Totally my fault! Called them and told them what was going on and that it was my fault and they apologized as though they were at fault,that’s a rare thing! Problem was fixed without question. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been very knowledgeable and helpful and treat me as though I’m an old friend. Don’t see that nearly enough now days. Recommend them to everyone I can.
