Choose the Right Cover for Your Climate
The climate where you are storing your truck will help determine which cover to choose. This SFS AquaShed cover is designed for use in moderate climates as indicated by the northern (green) and central (yellow) regions on the map above.
This cover helps keep your truck dry and well protected when not in use. It features a 3-layer SFS AquaShed fabric to protect against sun, rain, mold, and mildew in a moderate climate. Elastic corners and a rope cinching system allows you to draw the cover in tight over your vehicle.
Triple-Layer SFS AquaShed Fabric
The cover is constructed of triple-layer SFS AquaShed fabric. It is breathable to avoid growth of mold and mildew, and it prevents pooling to eliminate the build-up of ice. Additionally, the material provides UV protection to reduce fading, and it protects the roof from debris and other pollutants.
Elastic Corners and Straps Ensure Snug Fit
The cover is designed to fit snugly over your truck for a clean look and better protection from the elements. Elasticized corners grip your vehicle tightly, and they are reinforced to reduce wear and prevent tears and snags. Cinch ropes in front and back remove slack and reduce billowing.
Straps with buckles run beneath your vehicle to secure the cover in place. Once buckled, the straps can be pulled tight to ensure the cover is fastened and won't blow away with the wind.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the ADCO AquaShed cover for pickup trucks which is 252 inches long. That part number is 290-12284. This is a very economical and entry level cover for your truck. It's going to help protect it from the rain and from the sun. It's designed to be a universal fit for full sized, short bed pickups up to 21 feet long. It's made out of a high performance polypropylene material, so it's going to allow maximum breathability while also eliminating mold and mildew.
The top layer of our polypropylene material has these nice beaded holes which is going to allow air circulation while preventing water from getting in. The material beads water on contact. Check it out. This cover is designed to be used in areas with a moderate climate and high moisture. It's also going to protect your truck from those harmful UV rays that can crack or fade your paint job. The over is designed to accommodate your side mirrors and your extended towing mirrors if you have them installed.
Each corner has this nice elastic material which wraps around the corners of your truck and provides a nice, snug fit. Your cover comes with two nylon straps that wrap under your vehicle and buckle down to secure the cover to your truck. The buckle is made of a molded plastic. Once you have it buckled, you can tighten it down. The cover features three different sets of grommet tie down points which can be used to make a more snug fit for your vehicle.
Our first set is at the back on our tailgate. The second set is at the rear of our cab and the third set is at the front of our vehicle below the grill. The cover comes with two braided ropes that you can use with your grommet tie down points. Some things I really like about this cover is that instead of being two pieces, one for the cab and one for the bed, it's all one piece, and it's very easy to use and install. It's also going to do a great job at protecting your truck from the sun and from the rain. However, there are some things this cover could do to improve.
One being, it doesn't provide an antenna pocket for your antenna meaning you either have to remove the antenna or cut a little hole so your antenna can come through. It also doesn't have any type of cable lock meaning that anyone can remove your cover from your truck. The last thing is that it doesn't have any type of padding underneath so while it's going to do well against protecting against rain, anything such as hail could possibly damage your vehicle. It comes with a nice case for easy storage when it's not in use.And that's going to do it for out look at the ADCO AquaShed cover for pick up trucks.

SFS AquaShed truck cover works best for short-term storage in moderate climates. Heavy-duty, 3-layer fabric protects against rain, snow, and sun. Secures with cinch ropes and straps with buckles.Very well made easy to put on the truck. Fits great on my GMC Sierra 2500hd crew cab .
Excellent product
My truck lives outside, and there a several trees that shed small leaves where I park it. This cover does a great job of keeping the leaves off the truck (Especially for accumulating in the bed and the air intake at the front windshield). It does take a few minutes to put on and remove, but I guess that's to be expected.
Never considered an RV type cover for any of my vehicles before but this one is great. Very good idea.
etrailer I got the order and had it shipped in a day and I got it two days after that I think it’s excellent
Installed in ten minutes fits great. Thank you will but here more.
The cover fit my F350 like a glove.
Without a doubt the best cover I've found for my e-Pro f19 travel trailer. It fits like a custom cover and the price was extremely reasonable. Best features: Four snug-fit corners (just like bed sheets); at least seven (?) tightening straps underneath the unit which means you can safely tighten and secure against brisk winds; two flaps/straps across both the front and back of trailer, again securing against wind. And the smallest pieces are my favorite ... two weighted straps that help you toss each of the straps underneath to the other side! Brilliant! You will see a "bump" along the back end of the RV and that's where the ladder is covered. The roof covering fits well but with enough room to accommodate the ladder, a/c, bathroom vent, and antennae. I've told my camping friend about this cover and this web site. I check here first when I need anything for my RV. Thank you!
Very disappointed. I ordered (and paid $XXX.XX) for a NEW Adco SFS AquaShed RV Cover (Item#290-52239) but received one that was obviously used. The box had been opened numerous times and the contents were in disarray. The product had even been returned before as the return authorization mail sent to the last customer was inside the box. I've included pictures of what I received and its condition. You've sold this cover before...
Sad.
After the money we spent on your trailer cover, thought it would if lasted longer than one year? Disappointed to say the least, learn from experience we guess.
Real easy to put on trailer. The cover does a great job of keeping debris off the camper and looks brand new still after 1 full year.
We ordered this cover awhile back and just put in on our Motorhome
for the winter. It was quite easy to put on and it looks like it good quality
and hope it does its job. We will know in the spring.
After one year it has not held up at all. It falls apart in your hands. There are many holes from the wind and the sun has made it dry rotted. We were able to take it on and off twice and there would be one way to put it back on for a third time without it all just falling apart. To be fair we do live in the panhandle of Florida and do get a lot of sun and rain. We even put pool noodles around the rain gutters to try and prevent it cutting through the camper cover material, but after a while that’s exactly where the rips started from.
I've had my trailer cover for over a year now. Put it on the trailer for the second time in November, 2022. I noticed a couple of wear spots last spring when I took it off the trailer, and again didn't do anything about it until putting it back on the trailer. I bought some waterproof tape just to cover those spots. I love the way it fits my trailer, covering even the front hitch area. Very pleased with this purchase.
Just installed it a few days ago as we are leaving our popup in NC for a month. Easy install, good fit, and good straps. The extra tiedowns on the corners make it very secure. I may update review once used for a while.
In the beginning, I was excited about the purchase. I knew the cover would keep my new trailer protected from the sun, etc. However, less than 3 months ago I noticed the material started to shed and become thinner on the roof. 2 months ago I noticed a small tear in front near the roof (no sharp edges there). Unfortunately the tear just got bigger and more disintegration of the roof. We took it off in preparing for the hurricane that came and in that process more of it just fell apart.
I am disappointed that the product only lasted a year. Now I need to figure out what to do to get a replacement. I prefer not to buy from your company knowing that the cover might only last a year.
My second purchase as the first, although 3 times as expensive and from a popular company, just didn't fit (sized in 3 or 4 foot increments). This cover from AuquaShed fit great and looks great. The material is somewhat easily damaged on sharp edges so extra care is needed to cover corners and trim edges.
Initially I was very satisfied with the cover. After 1 year there were some tears from the material flapping against the trailer body on the bottom edges. The 2 year anniversary just passed earlier this month (Oct 2023). This past weekend (Oct 22 2023) we had some mild winds, 15 - 20 mph. I noticed a tear had opened over the air vent (white plastic cover) in the dressing room area of the trailer. Later that morning, the entire cover roof ripped apart. See attached photos. I discovered that the trailer cover only has a two year warranty. I will start to look for another trailer cover manufacturer who uses better materials. Very disappointing.
I love this cover easy to install and remove. It did rip on the first install and I do wish it was a little more robust. It keeps the water out durning rain and let's the trailer breathe. I do wish the cover had labels letting you know which end is front and which ends is rear. Only time will tell how long the cover will last with 3 rips in the Mojave desert wind.
Pretty good Cover. It did wear through on the back corners so I took it to an upholstery shop and had them sewn in a canvas reinforced corners and where the ac units are. Fit was very good too. Would definitely buy another one
The cover made it through the Michigan winter and in the spring the top seam started to come unstitched and then the cover ripped to shreds. ADCO did send a onetime replacement after we paid an exorbitant amount for shipping after trying to sell us a more expensive product. So far the new one seems to be holding up but we will see how the rest of the winter.
This is how I found our camper cover after 1 season (6 mths) of storage on 5/22/23. The entire center disintegrated and fell apart. The material did not hold up at all.
My husband just put the cover on, the trailer is in a tight spot, with little room to work with. He said, it was the easiest cover to put on our 2020 Geo-Pro 18'.It fit like a glove and since we get a lot of wind he loved the amount of straps that were easy to access. It has a wide zipper area on the side to access the door. He was pleased with the quality of the material and with the price.
Light weight cover. Put it on my camper, before I had it straightened out, it got a tear
From slide out. It is like a synthetic paper towel, made of synthetic fibers instead of paper.
Well it is a sacrificial cover to protect my camper, do not buy for use in harsh environment.
I put the cover on a year ago, 24ft v-nose. haven't taken it off. Made it through Wisconsin winter and summer rain. A couple of rips from sharp corners on the trailer and me opening The back to access my rear ramp door. For the price I am happy with it. If I needed to remove and replace the cover frequently I would want something more durable, but for long-term storage to protect from the weather and sun, this works great.
