MagnaFlow engineers the metallic catalysts for their catalytic converters with superior airflow in mind. The large surface area of the single honeycomb, metallic catalyst is combined with a detailed coating process to allow maximum exhaust flow through the converter. Computer-generated and laser-welded, the tubular body of this converter is fabricated from one whole section. It is spun tightly around the metallic catalyst to keep the catalyst in proper alignment and to create an innovative, compact shape. Thick-gauge stainless steel forms the inlet and outlet for maximum durability.
