Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Durabilt three ton lever hoist. This hoist is gonna make it much easier for you to lift and move your heavy loads into and out of your truck or trailer. This does have a nice durable steel frame that is going to hold up really well. It's also got this grade 80 heat treated alloy steel chain. That is also going to be very durable for you.
It's going to give you that high weight capacity, which is right at 6,613 pounds, or about three tons you're going to get 15 feet of this chain. So you'll be able to lift the loads up to 15 feet in the air. So lots of opportunity here to lift any of that heavy cargo or similar items up out of your truck or trailer. Now this does have this roller guide system that's going to allow you to pull on the chain from several different directions got multi-positioning lifting available to it. So you're not gonna have to be straight down.
It's going to work really well for you. The hooks here, we've got one up at the top and one on the end of our chain, these hooks are going to be very durable. They also swivel so they're 360 degrees, so you can easily get them hooked on in the orientation that you need to. Our throat opening here it's right at about an inch and a half, once we have it open. So we'll be able to fit up to about an inch and a half through there.
And then these hooks are designed to slowly bend if they are overloaded. So rather than just giving out altogether, you'll be able to see them kind of bending under the strain. If you have more weight on there than you should. So a really nice option there with those hooks and then our lever here is going to allow us to very easily bring in our hook, our load, or let it out depending on the orientation that you have this in here, so pointed to the right is going to be our down. So give us a nice slow flat out of our chain it's got that built-in mechanical break that allows for the positive, low control for needing to bring it in.
Just switch it over to the left side there it will slowly pull that load up. You also have the option to do a free chaining so we can move that to the center there. And then we'll pull out on our little knob, give it a twist. Let's go on until we pull that in like so so that we're only having to lift or move that lever the amount that we need to get it lifted up in place properly. This does weigh just a little bit over 50 pounds. So it is going to be very heavy duty. It's going to take a little bit of effort to get it hooked up in place, especially if you're having to clip it overhead. This does meet the OSHA, the A-N-S-I and A-S-M-E, B30.21 and B30.10 standards, so you can trust that it is going to be very safe. That's going to do a great job for you to hold up well and do what you need it to do. So if you are looking for a lever hoist for up to 3 tons, this is going to be a great option for you. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
